GBO2: Metal Spider, Arctic Base

Metal spider! a 400 Raid that gives 400 an actual ranged Raid to use!
This suit was actually pretty hyped about, its a popular GM custom suit that has a lot of weapons on its kit. When it was introduced to GBO2 it was a surprise. And the suit looked cracked, Its kit was pretty much a 500 suit. You get a Beam rifle that has 3 rounds, a grenade launcher with 2 rounds, both insta stun. A wire which is pretty standard for 400 suits. A flame grenade launcher that has 2 HE rounds, that can be fired right after each other or separate. These rounds cause Fire DoT, (Damage over Time). You got your Standard vulcans to clean up shop, A standard Federation Beam saber, and a Heat knife that you would find on BD Spartan for your dual melee weapons. It also has a special type of spotting radar that allows you to spot enemies that are close to you. Its Range isnt high, but it does spot those who go into its field.
On paper the suit looked pretty cracked, but once people brought it to battle they saw the flaws fast. Its fragile as all hell. The Low HP paired with being a raid means that Generals can almost 1 combo you. Ontop of the fact that your legs got no HP bro. So if you get poked at the legs your gonna lose a good chunk of them. People thought that with the two melee weapons and wire, you would be going in as much as possible. This wasnt the case at all actually. You see the suits strong point was its ranged kit, You harass them as much as possible waiting for an opening. Once said opening presents itself you then go in and start swinging. The dual insta stuns also let you close the gap much easier compared to the other 400 Raids. Once you start to play this suit as a shooting suit that melee's when the situation presents itself, is when this suit really shines.
Overall, Metal spider is a moderately-high skill sealing Raid. Its fragile, very fragile, but its kit makes up for it being so squishy. Your kit is 500 pretty much in a 400 raid. Abuse it.
The First fight i got stupid lucky lol, Who expected a Dom Barrage in this day in age. ON ARCTIC! I farmed that man good. Glad I got this fight on video, the second match was against stronger players. I fucked up with the roll to be honest, I should of rolled to the left instead of back, oh well. We still won and I got over 100K dmg. Thats still a good game in my books in a 400 suit.
