they are in a good spot right now but their play doesn't inspire much confidence on how this season goes. i don't see them making it out of the 1st round with the current roster but they shouldn't mortgage the farm for one or two rentals either. get middle 6 centre and a top 4 d man with term or stand pat and wait for the off season.

I don’t think they should mortgage the farm either but instead package a current Dman with a forward and a pick maybe to get another Dman now because you’re right with this roster I don’t think they go too far
