CORRECTION: I wrongly stated in the video that this movie was released in 1968. That's actually just the US release. The Japanese release year was 1967. I'm not entirely sure where my mind was at.

Linda Miller didn't voice herself in the English dub because she wasn't part of the Screen Actors Guild , it's the reason why Rhodes Reason was able to come back to record his lines for the dub since he's a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Dumb Hollywood rules.
@iancruz66173 жыл бұрын
That mostly because lindamiller was a model and not a real actor which she was nervious and sometimes rsrly scriptbshe was acting stand likea robot only later on the film she beclme very know

The reason why Toho never did anything with Kong during the entire time they had the rights to make films was because RKO or whoever held the rights to Kong at the time, had the final say to whatever Toho wanted to do with Kong. Kong was suppose to be in Ebriah, Horror of the Deep, but complications force Toho to rewrite the film and put Godzilla in his place instead, renaming the movie Godzilla vs The Sea Monster. Toho wanted more films with Kong in it but they simply didn't have a "good" script to get the okay to make the film. This is also the reason why Mechani-Kong, even though a Toho original mecha kaiju, is stuck in a legal gray area in terms of what Toho can do with the character.

Kong getting beaten by MechaniKong with the railing of the Tokyo Tower is so much more funny than it should be, but the amount that I was put off by the CreepyEyes Kong suit ends up balancing it out. Also; the Snake getting beaned by the rock. 😆

This film is another reason why Kong 76 is revered by most fans, being that up until 1976, this was the best Kong we'd gotten since the 1933 original. It was just a small step up from the King Kong vs Godzilla ape suit.

The Adventuress of Henrietta Street by Lawrence Miles is a Doctor Who book that's written as nonfiction within the DW universe itself about an adventure the Doctor had in the 18th century. The book plays with expectations a lot and has a supporting character, a Chinese man named Dr. Ni Who. The epilogue says something like, "Of course, many centuries later, the name Dr Who would enter the pop culture lexicon of the 1960s. It was the name of the villain in King Kong Escapes."

I like to make fan made scripts of my ideas. Basically fan fiction but more or less just of Godzilla movies and monsters fighting. No weird shit. I remember when I was 8 I made a fan fiction (but I didn’t know it was called that at that time) where Mechani Kong destroys the city and King Caesar is summoned to fight him but it turns out Mecha Rodan is helping Mechani Kong (yes I made Mecha Rodan up) and King Caesar beats them both with the portal gun from portal by using the portals to put them in a volcano. My thoughts were wild as shit

To Corrupt Nostalgia: Regarding Doctor Who. Of course he had nothing to do with the Timelord from the classic British series. He is supposed to be based on the mad scientist from the afore mentioned King Kong Cartoon., by Baskin-Rass Productions, even though he did not look anything at all like him. In the cartoon, Doctor Who was a short guy with a bald head, thick bottle lensed eyeglasses, and always ran around everywhere in a white doctor's lab coat. I thought he looked a lot like Dr. Sivanna from Captain Marvel/Shazam. But the actor in the K K Escapes movie looked nothing liked that in his black shirt. matching Cloak, with a tall thin body and long white hair. I always thought he resembled a great deal to Doctor Specture, the mad doctor and main antagonist from the old classic anime 'Tobor The Eighth Man'. (Check that out!) and could have made a great portrayal of such if only they could had made such a movie! ALSO, does anybody ever recall when the Time lord called The Doctor was ever recently referenced by anybody on his show as ''Doctor Who''?
