i got a 6 in bio, it was my lowest grade ☹️ but i still chose it for a level... Is it possible for me to get an A still?

@@kaialolll yeah it deffo is possible but you will have to work extra extra extra hard since a level bio is very difficult. like how bad you want it, at the end of any exams, your thought shouldn't be "ohh I could have done that better or this better", it should be I gavee the absolute best I could and there is nothing more I could have done". Make sure to socalise with people who are studious and are aiming for good unis, learn their revision techniques, aks questions whenever your stuck and bang out many past papers as you can, highlight which content you're weak in and go over it until your understand that shit and after you understand it, memorize it. My cousin got like c's at the beginning of college and just finished his a levels with a*aa in bio, chem and math. He is not a naturally smart student but he persevered and worked extremely hard to the point, his life for that period of time revolved around studying. He is off to do medicine at Imperial soon.

I believe it’s very achievable, I have friends who got 5 9’s for GCSEs, you can do it!! Just aim for 9s in everything, and your grades will reflect your effort

It was great! I loved it, I started the course hating science but soon loved it, you do a lot more content than everyone else, extra 30 at the end of each exam, but it’s really great you feel like a veteran once u complete it 😭😭 you might have to repeat a few topics that are difficult but just don’t give up you’ve got this! It’s not too difficult

Hey babe! Sorry for the delay, I officially started revising on the 12th of March so I hope that gives you some perspective, just revise hard and prioritise subjects that you need! I take biology, chemistry and law for a level, so I mainly focused on stem subjects during revision. Hope that helps

@@salmaate wooooo girl 😭😭😭😭 you’re putting yourself in a tough spot I’m gonna be so real with you. I’m making a video on this rn but I’m going to be honest and say, it is going to be harddd unless you had been revising hard for your mocks. I don’t know you personally, but if I started now, I wouldn’t have gotten the same 😭😭😭. Here’s what I’d do if I was you: - choose the subjects you need for a level/ sixth form - > prioritise these subjects in your revision because if you do bad on these, they can limit you in the future - chose a subject to sacrifice 😭 > for me it was French (grade 4) - I just knew that hard work brings miracles, but I’m not going to be able to learn a new language in 2 months 😭😭😭 - Red Amber Green ALL of your topics > focus on the ones you’re red for Here’s the good news though, if you choose your subjects you need for a levels/ college and focus on those (and stem) you can definitely get a nine in one of them💕 (but some less important subjects will have to suffer)( a few 5s in other subjects) try not to fail anything, but if you want to do biology a level for example, you need a minimum grade of a 6 and if you don’t get that, they don’t let you do it, so focus highly on the subjects that will limit you, and maths and English ( because jobs will look at maths and English, particularly English language) I think it’s still possible to get a nine, but some subjects will have to be lower, but that’s how it would have been for me, everyone is different, and you have the potential to do so much better than me, that’s my advice though, I hope this helps 💕

But you need to work HARDDDD, I’m making a video on this but I’ll just tell you now LEARN/REVISIT - take notes from video or textbook/ rewrite notes CONSOLIDATE - I used to blurt what I learnt STRAIGHT AFTER learning it and fill in my gaps of knowledge Repeat for the whole topic and do PRACTICE QUESTIONSS!!!! These are extremely important - practice questions per topic, (you can find these for science on study mind) once you’ve covered all of the topics, do practice tests for the whole paper. For English Mr salles saved my life, between my February mock and GCSEs I started using him and that’s what brought my English up from grades 4&5 his analysis are good. - learn key quotes for main themes and a few for each character that relate to the themes, learn his analysis and you’ll be good❤️ Don’t panic, you have a 2 week holiday towards the end of may, for you to revise even more, you have some time in between paper 1 and paper 2, but you need to make sure you’re starting paper 2 content in your revision before then, it will be hard to do all of paper 2 in 2 weeks. - I made a revision time table based off of when my exams were, so for exams that are a lot later, I didn’t start on them now, give yourself x amount of days before each exam and revise accordingly, I hope that makes sense? Hope this helps, the most important thing you need to do is believe in yourself, even if you have no support, be your own support and don’t let what has already happened affect you, yes you started revising a bit late, but thinking about that won’t help you move forward.
