Nice one been waiting for this one! My question is, as you are a teacher/tutor what do you think would be the best way to show your teachers you have potential/boost your grade ? Many thanks Gavin

Thanks for the great feedback. I would begin a dialogue with your teachers, explaining that you are prepared to work hard for the next few months because you want to improve your grades. Ask them what they require from you in order to get the grade you need. Once you know what they need you can devise a revision programme and start proving to them you are able and willing to reach your target. Best of luck.

Do you know when coursework will be due? I’m doing an NEA for GCSE DT with AQA but can’t find any dates online. It’s really frustrating.

Most coursework is usually due around April/May time, but you should check with your school/teacher for the exact deadline. Good luck.

Can I do past papers for all my subjects and send them to my teachers to mark and put down as evidence?
@tutoringwithgavin43043 жыл бұрын
That may be possible, but it's more likely that schools will carry out these assessments during class time. Check with your teachers how they intend to do this.

Hi sir. My question is that, if you do past papers yourself at home without teachers telling you, and tell them to mark it can that be a way of grading us? Can this be a way of getting higher grades? Will they accept that?
@tutoringwithgavin43043 жыл бұрын
Each school will have their own way of carrying out assessments so you need to check with your teacher first. They may get you to do a past paper in lessons.

Hi. Sir My exam board is Edexcel can you also give me the link please. I’d be grateful.
@tutoringwithgavin43043 жыл бұрын
Edexcel is a bit less user friendly. You have to search the subject. Make sure you click on the 2015 GCSE, not the 2010. /qualifications.pearson.com/en/support/support-topics/exams/past-papers.html?Qualification-Family=GCSE&Qualification-Subject=English%20Literature%20(9-1)%20fro This is for Literature.

Can I do notes to boost my grades
@tutoringwithgavin43043 жыл бұрын
If you improve your grades in the coming months then your final grade will go up. Teachers will have to provide evidence of your work if the exam board ask for it.
