today we a re taking a look at the new Bureau project ship the Gdansk. Gdansk is the the legendary capstone to the new pan European gunboat line.

SpartanElite43 threw his ship away very early on in the game. Yet he’s the first one to complain about DDs not being useful.

I know that I would change the way I play DD if my income were dependent on providing entertaining game replays. But hey, that’s me. 😉

Spartan Also got 2 solo caps and was trying to flank the enemy DDs that were too busy shooting at targets to know i was coming up behind them.. unfortunately the Kronstadt ruined that plan. So fun fact sometimes things dont go perfectly to plan.. Also I finished 2nd on my teams leaderboard despite being dead early in the game..

When I 1st came to legends 18 months ago I relied on his videos..Quickly learnt was not optimal strategy

FYI: just like the rest of the line, its not standard engine boost, its actually the worst engine boost. And its not standard DFAA, but improved DFAA (400% instead of 200%)

Exactly. The dfaa is definitely the better choice even if thus line of dds don't have good aa.

I like this ship but the dpm is 30k less the katsonis . The dpm should be better then the tier 8 and tier 7. Gdansk is less dpm then the pc version also. I hope they buff the reload or shell damage

@@wastelander89but the difference is penetration. The 140mm guns will pen more and cause more fires. It’s not all about dps. More reliable damage will cause more damage than higher dps.

I knew as soon as I saw you and Spartan in my lobby that i was gonna be in a video one way or the other. I was in the Lushen, would have been nice if the rest of my team wasn't so passive and has helped even a little the Alaska on my side ran and the Yama hid behind the island. I thought i was just gonna have the Z-46 to fight. Didn't realize the Khaba ran away from the middle and you came over. Then Spartan gets radared from the Kronstadt that chased him across the map lol.

GGs Tommy that freaking Krostadt was shadowing me the whole game and radar'd me at the worst time. I was hoping to catch you guys in your smoke with the torps but Kronstadt radar got me into a lot of trouble with a Gdansk, Z-46-Kronstadt, and Pommern..

Makes you think whether the BBs should prioritize shooting the radar cruisers? Which is exactly what you don’t do Spartan. I’ve been in your games and you rarely support the DDs but yell at them all the time and play DDs like this.

@@Pazma09 I mean I do try to support my DD if they are near me.. I shoot enemy DDs if they are spotted and try to remove priority targets like Radars whenever i get the chance

Also, and sorry to double comment, Lushun sonar is 5.4. His sonar just went down before he died. Probably because he was contested that whole time.

After doing the dpm calculations I realized it's 30k worse that katsonis. I hope they buff the guns with reload or damage per shell. It's literally worse the pc version of gdansk base dpm. I actually like split and katsonis alot better

On each team having a ship with great impact on the field makes the game somewhat more fair and square, I guess.

but to be perfectly candid red counterpart, based on my perception, is not the best at playing gunboat dds. This is my bet before watching the whole story going down.

Ok, so whats else with the update. Why are all the CCs only showcasing the bureau?

@@Franklin-j2024 realistically not much. For me I had time to play 1 game this morning and it’s the one you are seeing. As for why the Gdansk coverage I think it’s a factor of a couple of things. 1. The campaign ship isn’t really new as it was available for testing so we all probably have videos on it already. 2. The only other new ship is a carrier and people don’t watch carrier vids.
