Thank you for the kind words. It has happened to me also when several times I've struggled with a concept or method of doing something. Then finally, I'll hear someone who really brings it together to make sense to me. I'm very happy I could be that someone for you today. Thanks for viewing.

THANK YOU. Every single lesson my classmates are extremely disrespectful and talk, shout, throw things around, run around ,whisper to each other etc. My teachers get angry and they stop for a bit and then continue like nothing happened. Then they get reported, they complain a little and then continue. Then the teacher calls the head of year, they get a bit scared and stop a bit longer only to continue again. This whole headache happens in all of my classes, some less, others more (math is probably the worst), so I have to rely on what I write in class from the board and the internet. Even when I ask the teacher questions after a lesson she either complains about me "not paying attention in class" and tells me that I should understand it, or she answers without even understanding what I'm asking. I've got really bad anxiety and have been stressing about not knowing how to do this for way too long only to find out now that it's this easy. Now I have exams coming up and you to thank for my mark being better. It's not like I was going to fail otherwise, but this is a BIG help.
@medotedo84104 жыл бұрын
Really clear and great way of explaining the fundamental thing. I would love it if you tried more examples like if the y-intercept was a fraction or if we tried to draw same standard equation after converting it algebraically to a slope intercept form (which will yield same result)

Years ago, I had a tutor who’d teach me math. After I moved to another country at age sixteen, I stopped learning math for a long time and forgot the advanced lessons my tutor taught me. I’m twenty now and I am really eager on being bright so I tried to learn some grade 12 math on a website called IXL and kept failing at my practices. I was specifically stuck on linear equations and this video cleared things up and made things make sense. Thank you! Some of your explanations is just what I needed to hear! I’ll practice.

We had 12 = 6y - 4x in the video at 3:05. At 3:07, the 6y is covered up with the thumb. Covering up the 6y means that you are setting y equal to zero. So what you have left is 12 = -4x. When you solve for x in the equation 12 = -4x, you will have the value of x at the place the line crosses the x-axis, or the x-intercept, which you then can mark as one of the two points you need to construct a line. I hope I answered your question. Thanks for viewing and commenting.
