For people looking for info and isn’t in the discord and want to know how to get ice breaker NOTE that nightmare chapter 2 is currently balanced around g jugg so it is very hard Beat chapter 1 nightmare solo and beat chapter 2 nightmare with 1-4 people (solo recommended) Beat both chapters within a 24 hour period (you still have the rest of the event duration to do this) After beating chapter 1 nightmare you don’t have to repeat it as long as you beat nightmare with 24 hours of beating chapter 1

It seems you are confused about what John meant by that. The outcome of Night 4 was that it ended the event in an underwhelming manner, despite the difficulty spike from Night 3, as well as a lame and generic final boss fight, and that's why it sparked controversy. Christmas ch2 resolves this by making the waves Boss more challenging (especially nightmare mode) so that the event concludes in a satisfactory manner. And besides, if none of the nightmare modes before this event weren't given a nerf, then why should this one chapter get a nerf?
