In the calculation of GDP by expenditure method in the I component , investment made on capital goods is only considered. Investment made on financial investments isn't considered.

I have doubt here, In value added method what you did was actually taking out the cost of intermediary goods from final cost. In case of car; Car(Final good) price is 10lakh. 1.Don't you think the manufacturer of car already included his raw material cost In his finished good? 2. According to you the total GDP of car manufacturer is 10lakh. Don't you think the manufacturer of steel already his 5 lakh in his GDP? In a way the car company in it's financial report includes 10lakh. And the steel company which sold the steel to acr manufacturer includes 5lakh in it's financial report. So technically, isn't the steel price is double calculated? Because the car manufacturer has already included raw material cost in his final price. And he only added only 5lakh value the to product. Why 10lakh? It should be 5 lakh right?
