Sir, If any GDS official who promoted to MTS/PM cadre and opt for reversion, he will be placed in same TRCA he holds earlier. In this case, the senioriry of the GDS will exists (as he is placed in his original TRCA) or it will forfeited (as being done in PA cadre). 🙏

Sekar ji As per Dte letter no.W-02/2/2020-SPN-1 dt 8-3-2021, after reversion, such Gds shall forfeit all rights that would have accrued had he continued in the aforesaid posts in the regular establishment. That’s why reversion cases will be approved by HoC only in extraordinary circumstances and the ground for reversion to Gds should be logical. The Gds should be intimated of the details of TRCA , proposed place of posting and other terms and conditions for acceptance and only after formal acceptance of terms and conditions orders of reversion to the post of Gds be issued. @@CareerPost in the said Dte. ltr, it is only mentioned about forfeiture of rights in posts of regular establishment I.e. MTS, PM etc. However, on reversion, he should fixed in same lavel of TRCA as well as post, if available. Is this provision allows the official to njoy the seniority he had in GDS cadre before his promotion (as there is no mention in Dte.ltr on forfeiture of rights in GDS cadre)?

Sekhar ji, Dte has to give clarity on that. However, if a PA reverts to Postman, if he retains his seniority, then, it will also apply to GDS naturally. It can be presumed until receipt of clarificatory orders from Dte.

Punishments will not be specifically mentioned for each type of misconduct. It’s upto the Disciplinary authorities to decide the case as per merits.

Ok Ashwini ji If a gds is required to be terminated, then, he should be terminated after issuing notice . If the department wants him to be terminated immediately one month TRCA to be paid to him.
