Wow - great job on the new GDX Particle Editor, tutorial video, and documentation! Big thanks Raeleus! 👍

Great finish ;) Very useful tutorial. Figuring out all these settings can be hard for a beginner, or someone who is doing (trying) effects once a year.

That's a good news, I love using libgdx for game development cause it will train your programming skills. I'm just sad that my laptop can't run it.,😢 I can't afford a decent laptop yet.

Very cool, thank you for this work, have a nice day and good luck with font development!

The jokes at the end are really funny, but your team really needs to implement the scene2d actors properly, especially SrollPain and TextFaild

It's awesome, where can I get more templates? Thanks for the hard work!

Thanks! I tried to get people to contribute particle effects before, but had no luck. You can check out my old project though: github.com/raeleus/Particle-Park You can see there is some overlap because my creativity is limited.

@@raeleus Thanks, I'll check it out!

Do you think it would be possible to do Ice, Earth or Wind Magic Animation with this?
@raeleus10 ай бұрын
Certainly, but what exactly do you want it to look like? If you want finite control over what it looks like, I would prefer using Spine. If you want an element of randomness with basic movement, GDX particles should be fine.
@Xeakerr10 ай бұрын
@@raeleus Like some Ice Spikes, Stones falling down, Tornado. I will look what this Spine is too.

You can achieve those effects with the particle editor 😁

is this better than Talos?
@raeleus Жыл бұрын
It helps close the gap as far as user friendliness goes, but Talos is far more advanced and capable of creating much more complicated effects. This is really only for people that want to use the stock particle effect.
