What GE expects from me as a graduate?

Had an idea for a split axial flow turbine and compressor arrangement with dual independent adjustable stator vanes in stack arrangements. The split-combustor section could be a combination outer can and inner bottle-bank type burner system for fuel shut down (economy) at altitude. But, I'm not an engineer, so I don't know how difficult it would be to design such an engine. Though I can clearly picture much of its inner workings as viable.
