Sounds like CFM expects BOEING and AIRBUS to build something just to suit CFM. How hard would it be to give this engine the ability to fit in the same footprint as existing engines?

They have been talking about this and testing this idea since the 1980’s. So why has no aircraft builder offered it so far? Perhaps they are crapola?
