PRAISE HIM SAINTS of GOD at Temple of Deliverance
Praise break, as used in this article, is a reference to stopping what you are doing and deliberately praising God for what He is doing and will do in your life.
In our text (i.e., I Pet. 5:8-11), Peter first of all urges his readers to resist the devil. And then he has them to know that God will restore them, after they have suffered a little while.
We don’t spend much time talking about resisting the devil. And every now and then we need to remind ourselves that we all must suffer, but we have some hope also. In this devotional series, I want to suggest that we should work on resisting and suffering with hope.
In this particular devotional, let’s focus on having a praise break. When we grow to resist the devil and endure suffering with hope in God’s restoration then it will make all of the sense in the world why we ought to stop, as Peter did, right where we are and give God some praise.
Peter only had three more verses and the book would have been finished. However, he decided to take a praise break.
Every now and then, when we think about how the Lord has kept us from the destruction of the devil and restored us after we suffered a little while, we to ought to pause for praise. We ought to join Peter in saying, “To God be the power forever and ever.”
And then I don’t think God would be mad, if we mixed in some “hallelujahs, thank You Jesus, glory to Your name, and praise the Lord.” When I look at how excited we can become over sports events, surely we ought to give God enthusiastic praise.
When we think about how the Lord has brought us, how the Lord is keeping us, and where the Lord is taking us to, we ought to stop in the middle of what we are doing and give Him some praise.

Our God is So Awesome, and Amazing. What a Mighty Good God we serve. I am So Happy, Thankful, and Elated to serve a Miraculous, and Just God 🙌🏾. God will truly blow your mind if only you are Stedfast and fervent in your relationship. Just on yesterday I was in Memphis, TN delivering a load, and the Lord said get out the truck, and walk. As I began to walk, Give Thanks, Declare and Decree the things God was telling me to claim, and take account of, I came down the street and I saw Ida B. Wells St., and Georgia Ave. I said OK Lord, Ik I'm in "Good Company", the Lord said Keep walking, and then I came up to a lil church on the left, and it Said "WALK by Faith, and Not by sight Minisitries 2Cor.5:7, I said Yes Lord, I hear You, then I passed another Church , and a Center for the Blind, and Hearing impaired, and Began to Thank God again a PRAY over that Building, and the Lord Said GO on UP a Little Farther, all along as well I was wondering 🤔 what's this Big Church, and as I got to the top of the street at the Light it Said G.E.Patterson Ave., and I said MY Lord, is this the Great Bishops Church, say it ain't so, and I didn't know I was just a few steps away, and MY nephew called, and I was telling him where I was and what I saw, and He said it May Be you are in Memphis. I said we'll let's keep walking. I Almost felt like the Lady with the issue of Blood, and the Lady with the Alabaster box, Then I saw the Flags, and I said OK, it may be. It's Giving OLD National, Creflo Vibez. I'm from Georgia so... However, I didn't see a Name, I said I'm going to keep on walking, maybe it is a name on the door, and There were some people there, I wasn't really in a place to speak, I just wanted to see where God was bringing me, but I told my Nephew if they do happen to stop me, we'll just have to have some church anyhow. As I GOT close to the door, I saw the Flame of Eternity, and the Bishop's Memorial Picture. At that point as I began to leave, and I was by the Fountain the Lord said now Shout, Dance Like David Danced for the Victory, My steps are alright, and I leaped a bit myself, with my dog 😂😂😂. Here today, 5/4/24, I've come across this sermon, and when I parked my truck, Bishop had gotten to the part where you said Shout again, and if your steps not that good Jump for Joy. HALLELUJAH for the Blood, HALLELUJAH for MY Relationship with GOD, HALLELUJAH FOR PURPOSE, HALLELUJAH FOR DIVINE TIMING. HALLELUJAH FOR GRACE AND MERCY, HALLELUJAH FOR DELIVERANCE , HALLELUJAH FOR FAVOR, HALLELUJAH FOR MY LIFE. HALLELUJAH FOR THE WORD, IT STILL APPLIES TO TODAY AND FOREVER. HALLELUJAH AND THANK YOU JESUS FOR BISHOP G.E.PATTERSON FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE STILL MINISTERING THE WORD OF GOD 🙏🏽 🕊 🕊 🕊.
