Today I have a video to show and share about GE software "Proficy Machine Edition V9.5" and "Proficy Cimplicity HMI SCADA Workbench" how to create alarm viewer.
I hope this video everyone will understand step by step about how alarm viewer for your process.
In this section everyone will also learn how to install Microsoft SQL server Management studio 2012 step by step, how to login to Microsoft SQL database, how to create sample database "CIMPLICITY" for alarm viewer, how to configure ODBC data source for Microsoft SQL server, how to to configure the CIMPLICITY WORKBENCH project properties for alarm database logger and alarm logger, how to create program for link to SCADA for alarm viewer and we can connect this alarms to Microsoft SQL server database that we want.
And I'm so sorry if I have mistake from this video.

Nicely done but you should have used SQL alarm control instead of momentary alarm control.

Thank for sharing. this video is good. SQL server can logging data from CIMPLICITY. do you know how to using "Excel alarm SQL Query tool"?. can you share how to do?

My analog alarm is not working only hooter is ok but no message display. All drives DO alarms are healthy hooter as well as message display too. How to resolve?
