The song ‘’Ginnungagap’’ tells the story of the creation of all living matter. Before the beginning there was only a big yawning void called Ginnungagap. In the northern part of Ginnungagap lays the cold Nilfheim and in the south the heat of Muspelheim. The process of life began when Nilfheim and Muspelheim met in the middle of Ginnungagap.

@@Bear-qy2dm Most mythologies share common elements, even ones not directly related. For the ones that are, the similarities are uncanny. Study Hinduism and you'll see just how similar it is to Norse and Greek mythology. Many of the concepts are almost identical. Take Cerberus, or Kerberos, from Greek mythology. There is a similar dog in old Sanskrit stories that guards the realm of the dead named Sharvara. Sharvara means 'spotted'. It is derived from the same root as Kerberos, which also means spotted. So they likely share the same origin as part of the original Indo-European pantheon. While Syria has historically been Semitic, there is no reason to think there was no influence between old Syrian mythology and Indo-European mythology.

Traveling through KZbin is like hunting in a forest. If you do not know what you are after, what smells good, and where you came from..... you are kissing the wind. But perhaps... if you know what your desire feels like, you have the ability to choose where you go... and you remember where you are coming from.
