Barrel wasn’t vibrating, the rifle was bouncing on the tripod because the recoil brought the front leg of the tripod up.

It's vibrating cause it had such a good grip, normally the recoil is absorbed into the shoulder this time the it looks like the barrel took it

Can I shoot from a sitting position with the legs in the 20 degree position? I’ve tried to email Bog Pod but no response. How big of an area will the legs take up when in the 20 position? I’m just looking to be sure I can use it in my box blind. Thank you so much

Mine arrived today. I like it and plan to shoot a Ruger American 22 LR bolt action rifle off it. I have to use my Ruger 10-round mag because a "banana" 25-round mag won't work with it. To me, it is too heavy for toting around the woods on a hunt, but is very well made.

I’ve shot off the aluminum one. Just ordered the carbon fiber one 20 minutes ago. Some are claiming it won’t hold a clamped rifle that’s uneven. Well, if you clamp the barrel or the buttstock, you’re right. If you put it (the clamp) anywhere behind the front swivel stud and in front of the trigger, you shouldn’t have any problems.

Just curious why would you get carbon over aluminum did you not like the aluminum one? Just curious.

@@stevenhicks815 The carbon one won’t ding or get bent. That was the big selling point for me. It’s also impervious to temperature and a touch lighter. But neither one is really light.

Why would it bent?? That kind of stuff you paying attention what ypu doing with. You not gonna throw it under all equipment you bringing for hunting.

@@Draz930 It bends because it’s thin aluminum. My equipment is taken care of. But I expect it to be as rugged as I am. So if that costs more, so be it. Things happen. If I slip and fall on it, I want to know it’s going to still work.

If your rifle is not balanced the tilt clamp will not hold it. Returning mine today

I think u have a faulty one. They litterally will hold the riffle anywhere ahead of the trigger or behind the front of the barrel

It would work great, the jaws of the clamp open super wide, so it shouldn't be an issue at all.
