I got the Gear 5 animation. Had taken a break from the game to play Fist of the North Star: Legends ReVive, and I came back for the 9.5 year celebration. Second summon on the Shanks and Luffy banner, I get Gear 5, freak out because I've never seen the animation (didn't even know it existed, actually), and then the last Wanted poster was the new Luffy. Job well done. I'm a happy camper.

Pretty sure that Gear 5 animation means a guaranteed debuting legend. It also might mean a guaranteed debuting legend that you don’t have.

Probably its for a debuting legend - or maybe featured - you dont have yet. I pulled G5 on the 5th multi, the animation appeared. then on the 6th multi I pulled it again but no G5 animation that time. on the other banners that I pulled debut legends all of them showed the g5 on the pull (even on non super sugos/special sugos, like kizuna reiju which was a regular sugo and it showed the animation when I pulled her on 1st multi)

Gear 5 animation is for debuting legend, you can even get it on that uta banner that came out before this banner, it's basically this games equivalent to like a zeno animation from dokkan

I got G5 Luffy on the 12th pull on part 1. Then i tried to find Shanks on part 2 with my remaining gems or at least the new Rare Recruits but no luck there. At least i found TND Sabo and Akazaya nine which i didn't have so that's something i guess but I'm a bit disappointed i only found Luffy after so many pulls
