I do remember when FL had inspections. I grew up there and my Dad had a service station. In Jacksonville Beach. We live in VA now with state inspections. But ours are only $20! What we learn on trail stays with us. I sleep in my sleeping bag on my bed. I LOVE my bag. The habit was strengthened after my knee replacement where the only thing that did not rub my healing knee was a down sleeping bag. Plus no sheets to struggle with. So you are not weird. Looking forward to following your hike and meeting Scout. Happy Trails!

Ugh to frozen pipes. I just spend 2 hours under my camp, thawing pipes here in the western mountains of Maine. I would not recommend having frozen pipes, but if you do, get a heat gun.

They're thinking about it, so, fingers crossed! 🤞 I saw that air pump on Willow Walks channel. But he doesn't talk, so I had no idea what it's called or where he got it. The channel is mostly just so we can watch Willow's ears flap delightedly while she's walking in the woods 😊 You should get a GoPro for Elie, so we can watch her ears flap 🐩😊

Love the shots on the critters. My Flex Tail weighs more but has a flashlight. . Very handy in tent. Quilt: Nice to see the option. At 6'3" have wide and long. No amount of strapping seems to eliminate occasional cold drafts. A side sleeper that tosses a bit. Still love the quilt over bag. Will check it out. Good video.

you can make thumb holes in probably a 1/2 hour with a needle and thread...

Any dry cleaners should be able to put thumbholes in garments.
