So i have a few questions i was wondering. I love your work and you inspired me to take up my sports photos to the next level. So I’ll just ordered two 3 x 3 wescott pro light mods and two 3 x 3 softboxes. I saw your video on doing a five lite set up. I have six lights in total. And I was curious on how I should use my lights in the order they should be set up. I want to make sure the background is nice and dark so I’ll be using high speed sync, and was wondering what lights you recommend in the softboxes with your light mods attached to them. Here are the lights that I have. Two ad200’s, 2 ad600’s and ad300 pro, and a ad1200 pro. I was thinking i should put both ad600’s in the pro light mods, 2 ad200’s as side lights with reflectors or barn doors with gels, and either use my ad300 pro for my main light, or my ad1200. Do you think I could get away with two AD200’s in the pro light mods or will I need more power? Because I was thinking either pick up another A.D. 300 pro and use them for the pro light mods and I could use my ad600 for one of my main lights and have the other one as a spare. Or should I grab another ad600 and use two of them for the pro light mods and one of them for my main light. Also I was thinking about picking up the smaller Cambo boom arm for my needs. Those larger Kim bows you have I have no way to transport them they’re just too big. If you could answer my questions I would greatly appreciate it. I love what you’re doing for the photography game and I’m excited to get your pro light mods. Great work as always thank you. I am mostly going to be doing individuals, cheerleading and all the other sports. I already have a fog machine plus I have some aerosol Haze. That I have used in previous pictures but the pro light mods take it up a couple notches and professionalism

Thanks Truckin, since this isn’t the best forum for all these questions join the Pro Light Mods User group on FB and you’ll see a bunch of people helping each other. Also watch my Mastering Pro Light Mods video on here. One thing is you shouldn’t need HSS unless you’re trying to do something in sunlight.

I used the same Atmosphere Aerosol as you on a shoot in a gym. After using it for about 15 basketball players it left an oily feeling on the ground and we had to get the mop out to take care of it. Have you found this as well?

I haven't but I'm not surprised since most smoke can leave a residue and I usually try to have a towel or two for that - especially on a basketball court!
