I remember watching some videos Bob did with Nikon. Always informative, always top notch. It's great to see him again, I've gotta find him on KZbin and follow whatever he's doing. Thanks KZbin algorithm for recommending this!

I see an man who understands storytelling and needing only the gear he requires to tell it. Very simple, very straight forward and i love it.

For travel, I've got the Movo VXR 10 mic and the Sony ECM-XYST1M hotshoe stereo mic. Both are tiny.

Hi Adrian: Update on the microphones. For the run and gun stuff, I've been using the Rode Wireless Go set up, along with the Rode Video Micro. I also have a Sennheiser MKE 600 shotgun for bigger setups.

That magnetic mount set up is cool! Never heard of such a thing. I don't remember the name of the product, but I was thinking about using rings that increase the diameter of each of my lenses so I could use one variable nd across all my lenses.

The magnetic system is called Xume and it is handled by Manfrotto. Freewell filters has recently come up with a magnetic system as well. It's a great idea to standardize on your largest lens diameter and use step down rings...just watch out for vignetting (darkened corners) on your wideangle lenses because the rings of the magnetic system and a step down rings are almost like adding a very shallow lens hood.

This is indeed a great kit, and it can work wonders in the hands of the right filmmakers. Like it does with your shots, Bob. However, I'm surprised to see that there is no tripod or any other kind of camera support equipment in your kit. Does that mean you mostly shoot handheld? If not, I am sure I am not the only one here who wants to know more about the kind of camera support equipment that you go with.
