Gear Modifier Reroll Guide

So only passive modifiers, which boost stats, in slot 4, 8 and 10 can be re rolled? Not active modifiers like Brain Freeze or Defiant or any of those good ones?

yes those are only changed through getting new gear from synthesis or mob drop. currently the only modifiers you can reroll are the ones in the last 3, but also sometimes first 2 depending on gear (basically just needs to be in the zencrafted, hexwoven, or aetheric pool). that reroller on the website through Uplink will show you anything you have for what can be rerolled to familiarize yourself further

Does the subclass you have active while creating gear or re rolling gear have any influence on the types of modifiers you get? I synthesized a 43 helm last night as dps and got attack and crit modifiers. Then I synthesized 43 gloves while tank was active and got hp and shell modifiers.

currently it's just all RNG for both synthesis and spawns. that could change later though maybe! the only exception to this is the legendary weapons obtained through the quest at the top of the throne, where the difference there is just one of the three modifiers in that third slot depending on which quest you accepted

actually if you put your account here: ez.community/uplink you can use the reroll optimizer to see not only the different +4, +8, and +10 modifiers, but also the average optima orb costs of changing your specific gear to something else would be!!

I would definitely save rerolls for when you get higher level gear (like r2 gear or TA gear, both 50 but TA being considerably better). 43 gear can be enhanced to 50 also, just not as strong
