It's also worth mentioning that new players (one-time only) get a TRI Capotia accessory through a challenge and can make it gauranteed PEN using the dream crystals. So it can be used instead of Tuvala accessories after season graduation. Best choice would be to choose a TRI Capotia necklace from the challenge and enhance it to gauranteed PEN. Additionally you can get a PEN Capotia belt and ring/earring directly from Fughar after each level 10 season pass by exchanging the certificate thing. (Can be done on multiple season characters so you can get both belt and earring/ring) As for armor, completing the Magnus questline gives a gauranteed PEN boss gear piece as well so make sure to pick a PEN Red Nose from that. Any reason for red nose over something like urgons? Urgons are the hardest to guarantee PEN with jetina and will make you way more tanky when grinding

7:24 Griffon's also gives +6 hidden dr at pen compared to Giath's helmet. I would recommend completely skipping upgrading your converted tet boss kzarka and dandelion to pen or buying them from the market place. With Journals, free pen Capotia accessories that you can obtain from finishing seasons, and free tet blackstar you can get high enough ap bracket and monster ap to grind anywhere in the early game grind spots. At these spots you can expect to make 600-900mil silver per hour, which means that in about 20 hours of grinding you have enough money to buy duo Godr-ayed weapon. That is going to be your best in slot until pretty much the late game.

@@lucien4980 Bummer, leaving season as soon as possible is not the the best since the seasonal blackstones also increase your silver/h by significant amount. Spots depend on the class you're playing, some classes have way better healing which helps a lot at lower gs. But in general, spots you can try are: Aakman, Hystria, Kratuga, lower Sycraia, Valencia spots in general, Sherekhan, Bloodwolfs, Tshira, Mirumok, Ronaros, Manshaums, Elvia Bhiragi, Elvia Imps... Dreighan and Kamasylvia spots are less money but you're also working towards your hp/mana infinite potion

Graduated season characters can grind, poly forest, manshums, centaurs, blood wolf settlement, and mirumuk etc. Depends on your mobility and if your class has aoe will determine if you are gonna make decent money or not at a certain grind spot. Example Wizard excells at manshums,miru etc but cant do centaurs effectively.

Gearing up in Bdo is so frustrating. After months and month of mindless and mind numbing grind, i got to AWA 304 AP 401 DP and still getting one shotted left and right. After almost 3 years and now 5k hours, i still can't defend a grind spot. Yesterday a berserker just walked through me like i was made out of thin paper, not even a fight, just walked through me. Getting insulted on top after something like that, does not feel like "i want more of that" XD. But there is no other game like bdo so we stay.

Thank you for this. It's been really helpful not only to understand the gear progression of BDO, but also in realizing that I will probably never get really into BDO. Sounds like a bit too much upkeep and time investment. But hey, the game is extremely fun to grind in. The combat never stops being fun, at least in my experience. So there's always the fun in that part alone.

3:40 I finally got around to questing. I'm at lvl 35 and just updated my weapons and set off to explore. Found the Soldiers Graves (SSE of Heidel) and got into a scuffle with a skeleton.... So after panic running back to safety! I realized I was slamming shots of lizard blood and not HP potions 😮🤮 I just wanted to share that with ya. Thanks for the vids 😁

I jumped ahead so i might have missed it, getting the journals knocked out is a pretty high priority. Soon as full pen tuvala you should start on barrier of infestation, bartalli, deve, pavini, LoML, and dorin morgrins. Also the agris journal will make you a good chunk more money each day

Returning to BDO once again (now my PC can do remaster!) my god it so bizarre for me to see how PEN boss gear is much more fluent to get. With so much available also brings more questions.. Would love some input on my next gear path. Looking at moving my PEN boss armors to c10 and pump then into the fallen/lebreve etc slots. Think I know what is correct but fomo kicking in. When Jetina first came out I made my first armor as Dim Tree and then enhanced myself the remaining Bheg, Griffon and Urugon to PEN. After coming back and now the Magnus questline offers a free PEN I have some choices.. Redeem the quest and choose Red Nose and Caphras that slot (then just use the Dim on an alt) OR redeem the quest for like Griffon/Urugons sell my sellable helm/glove/boots to fund more Caphras. Im not a full focused grinder I have been building my family quests back up and doing adventure logs etc so im around 6 Bill cash silver 4k Caphras. SO im pretty poor but I do have lots of hoard materials since game launched. Caphras are limited and my past couple of week grind spots have been Caphras focused as they are now my bottle neck. Can anyone confirm if the Magnus quest item is turned into a fallen god/Labreve/Ators indicate your name after converted? Not going to lie I like that all of my PEN gear has my name tagged :)

Same tho. I have very limited playtime. Some days I can play all day but other days I can't play at all due to work. Wish they didn't limit the amount of dailies you can do. Or at least make it so that you can bank multiple dailies and complete them later.

Hi! Which one OP Class is in current time and which one you could recommend to start with to returning player? I had 3 years brake from game. I need to learn again how to play my main DK, I forgot almost all skill movement. This game have so many thing that "shout" at me, I feel lost in it. Since I've completed a season already, when I complete this season character I'm on now, will I get the option to exchange all of my gear for boss gear?

The price of buying duo dead god armor and upgrading a jetina piece yourself is about the same if you hit average on pri/duo. But there is always a chance you'll fail a lot and then spend a lot on memory fragments.

@@whitetiger8994 at least on EU, if you check out garmoth, you pay 12.7bil for c0-c10, reforming costs about 9, 11, 13 bil for first - third piece, so 11bil on average, then you have 2bil flame and about 5bil left for mem fragments which is enough for hitting average chances on base-duo

always crons when upgrade your first TET blackstar. if not enough crons, stay TET, dont ever raw.

I would say that for me it worked nicely converting to DUO godr then staying at DUO because its very easy to get to DUO until you have enough silver to get TET (sell duo get tet) and then click all the crons/hammers onto the TET godr or TET bs we got for free. I applied this and now I am already at 2x tet godr (since kutum = bs) and 1x tet bs that I click with hammer and with crons the GODRs. Hope that gave some info, I think for me it worked greatly since I can grind every spot now besides Ulukita. Just saving is limiting you to only grind X amount of max AP spots (due to being at TET BS) I think therefore duo/tet godr gives a little more for the brackets until RNG system helps you to get any pen (either the godrs/the tet bs laying around). On the other hand silver for 2x tet godr ~ almost 1x pen bs but at least you have a lot of AP in both your succ/awak spec ready for any tag before getting the PEN BS. Maybe this approach is wrong but I think for me it worked to progress little bit and gave me some goals in grinding silver (buying the tet godrs) instead of relying on RNG poopo system (due to already failing a lot for that pen bs/pen godr with 300stack - very unlucky). Some people might say godr is trap but from what I wrote above I think only if you enhance the GODR from 0 to PEN - that is the actual trap. Good luck.

Always cron, and preferably on a 230+ FS.

If you have spare and want to boost the stack, you can raw tap it although it is not efficient way to get higher stack. If it's your main weapon, only cron it. Never raw enhance your main gear. Always only spare pieces.

Id love some of ur input regarding eva/dr: Im 700 gs (currently full duo fallen god with c7 urugons), Im thinking about swapping over to evasion after getting the boots to duo fallen god as well. Im playing succ maegu. Do you have any idea what that would do to my pvp/pve performance? Im hoping for a somewhat net-neutral. I hope that im slighty tankier in pvp wihtout losing too much dmg and Im hoping that im not gonna get one shoted in higher pve spots just because I swapped (if the spot is a one shot in general ofc but im talking about making myself oneshotable just bc of the swap).

For PvE, it will most likely feel the same as it does now, for pvp, depends on who your fighting. Essentially youre trading damage for survivability.

DR and accuracy will work better in pve long run. You can also swap dahn glove and ator shoes later for the evasion version at anytime

So here is my thing: I am currently on Tet Main Blackstar, Tet Offhand Blackstar and Pen Dande. I still have to choose my free Tet Blackstar weapon from the event, and I am not sure which one to choose. Is it worth getting the Tet Blackstar Awa and swap it for my Pen Dande? Or should I keep the Dande and choose something else and sell one of my current ones for profit?
