I am THAT kind of guy that watches hundred of videos but only hits like in one or two but man, your videos are great. This strategy worked so well for me! I ended up using a couple of low cost heroes to be the fodder and used Livian, Sadie and Eona at first, then added Vortex, Abomination and Brienne and it was pretty easy. Thank you!

A strategy I've used for the final boss rally is popping Tauriel's ult while putting Marri on the topmost left platform to them putting melee dps on the left path facing the boss, he usually stops and tries to attack them. That delays him from starting his earthquake as he only does it when he approaches the main team. That way, I get to kill him before he comes for my main team.

Rhutu is also surprisingly good at stopping the rolling boulder with their 40% damage reduction passive, letting them absorb the rolling attack and 2 melee hits before dying even when severely underlevelled and undergeared. (had to cycle between him and decimus to protect one lane cause I only have 1 defender built up) I also suspect the damage from rolling boulders might be based on your own HP before factoring armour mitigation meaning between 2 healers they're surprisingly good at holding a lane. Regarding the boss wave, I'd suggest putting spare extra DPS outside of heal range; keeping the tank line and core DPS alive is more important.

thanks a lot tons of useful info lol, i did not know that tanks take less dmg and wondered why my fighters were instantly getting blasted, managed to get passed 10 now, 1 thing i have noticed with the boulder balls, i put down narvi to tank the first hit, and i wait for them to move a bit, if you wait you can see them start up their auto atk annimation and if you remove the hero before they get hit it can waste some extra time for you to bring people back as blockers, im not sure if it messes up their ai tho and its probably very minimal

i needed this video so bad finally breaking the wall to get red gear and my team was mainly a copy of yours it was Ain, Livian, Meriel, Eona, Midan ,Brienne ,Lightlocke, Decimus ,narvi , and salazar but really it was just a 10th pick wasn't really big impact except for boss the adds are very tanky but yeah you helped me pass all the way up t 13

Fantastic content as always, mate! Quick question regarding the Arena. I'm in Plat 3 and feel as though I have a firm grasp on how things work with each challenge. For the current air raid, I usually win the first round with my Tauriel and drop Setram to finish off the last few mobs. I then drop Elukas to slow the alien dude, while Setram blasts him and by the time he gets the Tauriel, he's about dead and my opponent's usually have 30%+ left on theirs. For some reason, it says round tied and I feel robbed. It's even more frustrating if it goes into the later rounds and I end up losing by >5%. Would you happen to know what's going on here? What's the purpose of atk healing scaling in the game? Other than they are squishy? On that note do you then build them Healing Effect > Atk % > Atk %?

I would take 2x ATK% and 1x HE for an atk-scaling healer. ATK scaling healers just seem to have more other stuff in their kits - like rage regen or attack spd or damage for example. HP scaling healers seem to just be very tanky

you should look at janqhar as a tank for this, he applies curse on anyone he blocks, might be very useful for the rolies

Hey! Do a video on how sub-stat distribution on gear drops are rigged, please! Context: The only Damage stats that can roll on a mythic weapon are ATK Bonus, Crit Rate, ATK Speed. I did GR1-18 until 135 Mythic weapons dropped. TWO of those weapons had all 3 ATK Bonus, Crit Rate, and Speed on them. And they were both the Salvation healing set. In contrast, TWENTY-EIGHT weapons dropped with HP Bonus, Defense Bonus, and HP on them.

There is definitely a weighting and it's not equal for sure - but I'd need to do a whole load of runs and track the distribution in order to make a video, and for people to give it any credibility it would need to be across thousands of runs. If I can figure out how to scrap the game data then maybe, but for now I just don't have the time, sorry mate. But I do agree!

@@MaBucket I'm pretty sure the example I gave is a legit imbalance. Triple offensive stats on weapons is extremely rare. All you would have to do is 200 auto rounds of GR1-18 and scan through the list of what you get. Find all the weapons with Crit Rate/Speed/ATK%, then look for all the weapons with any other combination of any other 3 specific stats like HP Bonus/Def Bonus/+HP. If you find only 1 or 2 with triple offensive stats and 15 or 20+ of multiple other specific stat combinations, you would be able to say, statistically, there is very likely a large imbalance in how the stats are rolled. I'm sure there is an actual statistical formula for comparing those results. I haven't done statistics for years, but maybe I can find it.

I desperately need somebody to explain arena. I will have the exact same team, 30k power higher, lose. NBD maybe their set up was better. I will then recreate their team and position exactly same (and faster because I'm playing at speed one to set characters as fast as possible) and I will still get handed my ass. This will be the reason I quit the game. The grinding is absurd but I tolerate it. The controls are not the best or most responsible but I tolerate it. But I have got to have somebody explain why I am constantly getting my ass kicked in arena with the exact same team/positioning and 20-30k more power. I don't get it.

Maybe they're baiting you with low Battle Power, which is done by many players. If you need to know about it, try asking on disc etc.

Weridly this is the only gear raid I can get mythical gear from. Despite the 4 legendaries I have being a marksman, 2 mages & a fighter. and the only 3 heros I have at 6 star are Salazar, Eona & Brienne...

Personally I find GR2 easiest, which is one of the reasons I've focused more videos on it - you can get around having weaker heroes in GR2, much harder in GR1/GR3

A healer like vortex makes all the difference. The shield from excess healing can be the difference between your tank surviving or not. I was stuck in 11 till I pulled vortex and went 2 levels ahead
