Thank you brother. Was stuck in this level for a while, just cleared it with your placement. I replaced Razaak with Maul, Hex with Brienne and Nyx with Hatssut. Also, instead of Lightlocke, I used Hollow for the rage. Cheers

Don't get it - have they increased the strength of this level? i have all the heroes you have, the only difference is hatsut instead of hex.. .and mine are much better geared.. yet i can't do half the damage... i can't even stop the first wave.. they just fly by like nobody is hitting them

U have Vernna and Silas cause that bond is where a lot of his damage comes from and having a piercer Lord

All fully promoted to 60? I just cleared using weaker heroes and his placement. Used Brienne instead of Hex, Maul instead of Razaak, Hatssut instead of Nyx (she isnt weaker, but Nyx's AoE is better for that lane)

Yeah, I don’t get it either. I have the same hero’s (except that girl mage), all level 60, all with solid gear that every piece is leveled to 16. Artifacts are also solid and leveled. I’m using the same timing, and that last wave gets me every time. It’s not even close. I’ve probably been trying this strategy for a legit 3 hours in total over numerous days. I’ve switched out to other hero’s like maxed khamut instead of theowin and others.

This is the last stage I need to clear to get my Hero Pact (fingers crossed I get something that would really boost me, like Silas or Aracha), currently in my 4th week of playing, F2P. GR1 18 was a cake walk and GR2 18 just needed a little bit of patience of my behalf, maxing out my second tank, using Raiden to boost my Boreas and Elowyn ults and last but not least, using both Decimus and Baron to buy time for Narvi to get cost up and also soak up unnecessary hits for my main tanks (Olague and Isolde) was the trick. Will surely use elements of this strat on my 19 push. Hopefully I'll build a second healer by then (don't have Sadie, but Midan will do, she also offers some defensive boosts), can't build my A0 Vortex yet, saving him for the Abomination fusion (of which I'm missing Daemon), but will do so once I get more pulls of him. Anyway, sorry for the "earful", I'll try the tips learned here, but without either a second strong ST or AoE marksman in my group (currently building Razaak and later build Hex as well), OR a piercer lord, I'm really starting to despise this raid haha

You've had some good pulls, I've been playing for around the same time and I don't have many legendaries, it's taken me to my pity record each time 200+ pulls and I've had the same hero 3 times. Apsan unfortunately.

lol it's great if you have a piercer lord for that extra range. Try it without that lord and without silus.

What if you don't have any good AoE for the outside? Eona and Greed are about all I have. The game has blessed me with loads of S-tier single-target heroes but has snubbed me badly on AoE heroes.

Eona can solo left hand side with some healing. IIRC skill timing was as the first big wave starts to move towards the end zone, after the first move and pause, and the skill should last until the second wave dies. Right hand side you could try to Marri and pray that it's enough CC to take care of everything, even with limited AoE.

Both Eonas and Marris range is too short to hit the enemy formation before it makes its way towards your core. At that point you would need extremely well rolled gear to get the waves down before they reach your core.

Obviously well overgeared for the level, but the principle is the same, and you can explore the deployment orders as well as coupling with supports like dolores. Note that I deliberately stopped using skills on the RHS and even without Marri, the last wave can still be done without much trouble, especially if you have some good units to carry you. (theowin is free) Obviously if you activate skills, you wouldn't have that problem.

What an innovative guide. Put 2 marksmen in the middle and 2 aoe marksmen on the side. mindblown. A useful guide would have been not-using 2 aoe on each side, cause thats the issue many players have

the heroes aren't as important as the gear and builds they are in. You will most likely need Luneria/Aracha to increase range then u can use whatever u have for the rest.

Its a good strategy, but my center cant kill the boss yet. But I like it. No Idril sucks...got her frikkin A5 on 2 other accts, cant pull her on the ftp. There was a theory a while ago that if you actually buy something with cash she drops every time...
