Gear review, INIU 10K mah power bank AND INIU 30W PD, Fast Charging block

Video on the power banks and charging block I am planning on taking on my Appalachian Trail thru hike in 2024. I will be doing more testing in the coming months to be sure these will perform to my satisfaction and fulfill my needs. This video is info I wish I had known before purchasing.

If your filming your hike, two battery’s will be needed if not that second battery bank will be dropped in a short time. I hiked the Long Trail the last two years and by the time I got to Manchester I dumped my 20 for a 10 NiteCore. Those seem like very nice power banks, especially for the price. When it comes it weight I am super anal so it’s NitecCore all the way. I had no issues on the LT with 10 vs 20 but then again I was not filming. I would get about 2.6 charges on my iPhone. I also would sometimes charge my NiteCore headlamp too. I never ran into an issue charging though I do like that charges ability to fast charge. Super nice for a very good price. These are the best fast charging power banks available for the price $ i have the 30W Charger & if both ports are used at the same time they share 15W..7W each. I have the BI-B5 20W 20k & it only has 18W input charging..I'm thinking about the 65W 25k INIU as it has 45W input charging. Great video keep on trucking eh 🤘🏽🇨🇦⚡️🔋🔌⚡️

Do you have the ability to daisy chain the batteries? Where one battery is charging another and at the same time it is getting fast charged? Also can you get I think it's a 40 or 45 watt charging block whatever is the largest, might boost it so you can fast charge the first, while in turn it charges the second.

I did not test that daisy chain. I'll test that tonight and let you know. As for the charging blocks, I'm looking at the 45 watt. It's about 2.5 ounces heavier. I'm also looking at the Anker 323 33 watt block, which is also heavier.

I just tested the daisy chain. It does not work. Both batteries do a lot of flashing and then the second battery plays dead like I showed in the video. First battery will fast charge. I tried multiple different ways to hook them up. Second one always ends up playing dead. Note: I did confirm the batteries will take a charge while charging items. The battery will NOT fast charge and charge items, just regular charge when charging items.

Bummer! I just thought it might be worth a try. I bought an omni charge that does much of the same as yours & does have the ability to take a fast charge while it charges other items. BUT, it was not intended for hikers and prooved to be very, heavy to other chargers out there. Flip side I never switched it out because it did do everything I needed & there were times I was on trail 2 weeks at a time before I came into town and I never had it go dead on me. I was really hoping that Daisy chain option would work for you. That battery you guys picked still has alot of great options. I do think the bigger plug might be worth the weight though. Root'n for you guys!
