A great rope i just got few months ago is yale focus..its like bluemoon but is very visable the red yellow gold refrelcts well...comes with nice tight hand splice from wesspur s..splice company.

Since you do alot of spar work you should try the caralink tether from arbsession with dmm perfecto..its about same size as akimbo ..and can be disconnected...love mine with 26 pursick epicord 9.3..just tryed akimbo but haven't used it at work yet..it's set smooth on bulemoon at about 160 pounds it's very nice I'm glad I got it over the rope runner. But must say I just love the old hitchclimber wrench setup ..still not used to all the new stuff..back in the 90,s never had most of today's tools....

@@blueoakats forgot to mention I have version 1 Cara link tether..it's shorter than version 2...not sure if they still have it..but it's perfect..I did just buy the fix tether for another purpose..but that v1 is great ..arbsession and there spliceing are great fast service and you can sighn up for corporate discounts..on all products meaning.no more coupons or deals .for example saddle s are about 100 less or so.thanks

Bought th at jet step..howeverthe straps are to big.cant get it tight enough around any of my boots..salewa gtx or Carolina spur boots..it just to big..realy wanted that thing.just sits new in the box. Might try one day modifiing the straps..

@@blueoakats I'm pretty sure you and your guys wear chainsaw pants. I've had most of them ..but since you are small buisness owner like me..the absolute best most comfortable pants I found and the lightest and cheapest...and that offers your company logo name on them is the DOGWOODS ,and iron wood for winter ..the dogwoods are so comfortable I don't wear regular pants anymore or my cloggers or solidur s..literally I bought 3 pairs and 4th on sale at half price ..these dogwoods are incredible they are rated ..have real vents behind the knees they come in calfwrrap or regular..and the thing is they are true to size like regular pants I wear 30/30 or 31 30 ...they are incredible. And look professional..only down side would be if any is there not the most rugged ..but haven't had issues..maybe not best for crawling threw thorn bushes.but other wise best there is..the ironwood are little more durable and winter style In comparison..I couldn't go back to the others..at 265 a pair therr un matched ...on sale even cheaper..reach out arborwear best thing I've done ppe that is...

So a knee ascender is just like a foot ascender, but relocated up a distance? I have a notch jet step and it took a spell to get used to it from it popping out.

Yes, a knee ascender is the same, just hovering. A lot of people just make their own with a petzl croll, some webbing and a bungee cord. I do believe the SAKA is worth investing in, however, as the company is a small business (Climbing innovations) and is worth supporting.

I use bluemoon with akimbo ..im 160 with gear older skinnyer now..works great woth 3rd setting on bottom and 4th on top .cant remember the letters

How do you like the scion. Rope?? Just received the vortex dry hd 200ft..nice thick rope ..for removals ...I contrast to bluemoon wich is mainly the ropes I have the cover us tuffer on bluemoon then the ivy ropes yale is little better I think.shame there getting rid of brw samson...classic rope....

I like the scion. Works with the akimbo. Stretchy though. Yeah samson arbormaster is being replaced with arborfreak I guess. I have the blue arborfreak. It’s essentially the same rope as bluestreak but a different color. I like it. I still have a brw- dont know how long it will last!
