extremely excellent video! thank you so much for showing everything in depth! your observations and opinions on the smart watch are really appreciated. this is the kind of video I've been waiting for! please do a review video on the S2 later because I'm curious how it handles calls. my main interest in getting a smart watch is to be able to see and answer calls while driving and while at noisy theme parks. when I'm at a theme park, I can never hear my phone ring, so I'm curious if the S2 vibrates or what. I'm trying to figure out if the Bluetooth model is good enough for my needs because otherwise I'll wait to see how the 3G version is. also I'm really loving the S Health. the S Health is amazing on the phone, but it's not really usable for the gym. the only thing I would recommend is having a white table cloth or background so that your camera can automatically adjust the white balance of the video.

@Josette, Obviously - Thanks for the tips! I hadn't been to sleep for 2 days so I was halfway sleep making this video lol but yeah, I'll have a review up once I've used it for a couple days. I will say this though, if you want to be able to answer and make calls through the watch you'll have to get the 3G version because this one (Gear S2 Sport) has no speaker. I've also been using the a bluetooth headset primarily with my original Gear S instead of the speaker recently & even though I love having a speaker, I think I could go without it as long as I have a Bluetooth headset. I'm using the Gear Circle. also I'm not sure how your youtube account is setup but it won't allow me to reply to your comments. the replies are cool because it notifies you whenever I write you back. look into it if you'd want that.

@T0TALED I haven't found a way yet. I know on the original Gear S you could hold the home button and swipe from left to right but that nor anything else I tried on the Gear S2 worked. if I find something I'll post it.

Great video. I have the 3G Classic version. Love it! The rotary typing is actually very intuitive and quick once you get the hang of it. I use either the rotary keyboard or S voice to type. Its nice to be able to leave my phone home and still have access to calls and texts with no contract.

well they got rid of the camera bout a year ago. this time they got rid of the speaker unless you buy the 3G model but yeah the camera was cool but it's kinda hard to miss because it's not like we can't take pictures on our phones anyway. plus with the quick launch feature in samsung's newer phones I would probably only end up using it to show off or be sneaky lol

Either or. It all depends on the individuals personal preference. I have the black classic & one of my homeboys has the white sport, both look good on the wrist, but I usually do black. It goes with everything & less likely to get dirty. Skin color wouldn't make a difference.

+Jhon davis there is a 3G model coming soon. This is the WiFi/Bluetooth version. As with the original Gear S, the 3G version will allow you to leave your phone at home & operate fully through the watch.

I have been using the 3g version for about a week and the GPS is not accurate when I use the watch as a standalone device. I love every other feature except this issue. It is very frustrating when I go on a run (well lets call it a fast walk lol) and it says I have only gone 2.3 miles when I have gone 3.6 miles. Hopefully this is not hardware and it can be corrected with an update.

Luvidicus ironically I just returned my gear s2 b/c I could not live without the android wear ecosystem and I'm loving my champaign gold moto 360 with silver band. I couldn't get over that the gear s2 was basically a $300 fitness watch (in looks), had bad voice recognition with s-voice, and the app store was bad. Plus if you use google opinion rewards app, you can do surveys and get google play credit. I usually use that money to buy watch faces and android wear apps. You can't do that in samsungs store.

yeah, I know now. I tried to see if I could do without it by utilizing my Bluetooth headset. it's not that bad, I just wanted to get the 3G version for those days in not around my phone or the headset. Still I great device but I'll end up getting the S2 classic and the 3G sport

Still I really can't wait to get my hands on it. I have the Gear S already and really like it, but the Gear S2 looks more like an every day watch and looks less techy. So I 100% relate to your video. If all goes well I'll also get the Sport 3G when it finally gets to either the US or UK.
