+rudimentory1 It's a reset, it's normal something like this, just like with a smartphone. You get even a warning message before that. Just go in samsung store, my apps and reinstall them. It's very easy. The problem is solved now? Everything is ok?

My battery drains like crazy now with this update. Won't last a day with AOD. If you actually go through the menu for a few minutes it'll 10% off just from that.

Has anyone ran into voice text not working after update ? Before the update i was able to respond to text with voice; now i get an error "voice input unavailable". This is super annoying, the update before Tizen 3.0.0.1 fixed voice to text and now with this update it's broken again, thanks Samsung!

Try checking the language setting for voice. A friend had this problem and fixed it by changing the language

I no longer can dismiss notifications by swipe up. Now it opens up the notifications and i need to scroll down the message and click on erase. Can this be changed?

Is it an LTE version? I have a T-Mobile one and I haven't got the update. Maybe the carriers have to approve them? Did you manually check for updates in the plugin app?

Yes...it's a Verizon LTE version. I tried to update it using the Samsung Gear app on my Samsung Note 8. So I am sure it's a delay with the LTE version vs. the non-LTE version.

Do not update, sir. Battery drains extremely fast. Used to last 6 days in a normal base use, and now only 2 days and is already at 35%.

Hi...thanks for the input. I always put my watch on the charger at the end of the day so as long as it last one day...that's good enough for me. Not sure why people don't charge their devices at night unless they are traveling and forgot to bring their chargers...????

Press the Power key repeatedly until the Select REBOOT MODE screen displays. Press the Power key to highlight ' Recovery'. Press and hold the Home key to select.Keep holding the Power key until the Gear S3 begins rebooting.

Thankyou there was no recovery option to select, just the 3 I mentioned earlier, the gear stopped looping by itself and restarted to complete the update, then I restored my data afterwards. Was worried there for a bit 😁..Thankyou mate.

+ANGEL Ovi Si eu am patit același lucru. Trebuie sa resetezi Gear S3. Se pare ca update-ul zapaceste total sistemul de operare. Eu nu mai puteam sa schimb deloc fetele de ceas, plus ca avea lag ceasul. L-am formatat si totul a fost perfect.
