Weather conditions like that are an excellent way to test gear. Great videos.

Quick way of....slinging sort o speak, your rifle on your Alice pack....take a QD attachment off one of your slings, loop one of your straps through the QD attachment where a sling would go, synch it tight to the bag and attach it to the QD point on your rifle....then all you have to do is tie a strap from the bottom of your pack onto the butt stock and synch it tight to your pack.

Nice meeting you guys this year. It was dark in camp, but I was the guy blaming (in jest) Jason for his AAR on your site as the reason we were there. I really enjoy the site, and go there often when I'm trying to figure out some gear issue or another.

Ever try the inside bladder from a wine box for a pillow? weighs a little more than a zip lock bag although not as multi use, you can however adjust the pressure on the fly through the valve, the silver coating reflects body heat.

Bryan you may want to take a look at the eberlestock v69 destroyer. the rifle stock goes in a side pocket and it cinched down with the pack straps. Great Video

Bryan, I don't know if you've learned this already, but this is how you dry clothing while out in the field: Wring out any excess moisture then lay whatever you want dried out perfectly flat INSIDE your sleeping bag. Then you climb in, on top of your wet clothes, and zip your bag up. You can do that in your skivvies as long as it's not too cold. Then just go to sleep. That clothing item will be 99% dried, guaranteed, by morning as long as your upper torso was on top of it. The farther away you get from your upper body, the less dry the item will get. Don't thank me, thank your recruiter.

Great video guys! Just a thought on something. Ive heard of people collecting those little silica bags that come in most everything now. Would it be neat to create a system like a larger bag of silica and be able to put your damp/wet clothes in another bag over night so by morning the clothes aren't as damp/dry? Again, just a thought. Keep the greatness coming!

Bryan use 550 cord to tie the bipod legs together and you can use that to fold and unfold them
@justinanderson90058 жыл бұрын
also the destroyer is made with some 450 d instead of all 1000 d material like most eberlestocks saving some weight

Loved the intro! I think i missed it, but what kind of coffee were you drinking?

I've read that suntory's brand control is really tight but have you ever tried carrying some of their products I'd love to have easy access with reasonable shipping of that sweet coffee nectar here in the U.S.

Hey Bryan, just found your channel so I apologize if you already answered this question. If you get a chance can you explain how you packed for your flight? Particularly how to declare your rifle and things like that. Did you have any issues bringing ammo or anything else?

Instead of "questions over coffee", I have questions *about* your coffee. What were you drinking in this video? Some sort of pre-made iced coffee? Just curious lol.
