I've got the work station and king size mattress if you guys need a roommate. I call the middle spot in bed tho. I will also bring the super high thread count Ralph Lauren sheets to sweeten the deal. Feel like that will make up for my hairy chest and back that while is nice during the winter will def annoy the two of you during those hot summer nights. Especially in NYC where we likely won't have central air.

I’m completing a piece of work on the style in the early 60s in Greenwich Village and how it contrasts with suburban picket fence fashion of the 50s that persisted at the same time. Would love to hear your opinions?

Oooh that would be really interesting shoot it over to me when you're done! I mean 60's and 70's New York is still the dream in my head when I think about moving to the city. Certainly wasn't perfect- but it was the epicenter of civil rights, hippie and later punk culture, and those directly & freely flowed into people's style. The elephant in the room is Greenwich today versus in the 60's; Allen Ginsberg (haha) living in a hostel vs. multi-million dollar studios. As far as style goes it was just everything and anything that could represent counter-50's-suburbia-culture. People wearing western, spiritual, and eventually shredded up clothing. Pretty much reflected the new forward-thinking youth's idea of "USA" as we approached damn Vietnam, civil rights, etc. Such a shift from the prior "American Dream" that was as you wrote picket fences and moving outside of the city.
