I realize this is an incredibly late reply, but in case anyone else also had this question: The "handedness" of a bow refers to the hand that draws the bowstring. A right-handed person should buy a right-handed bow of course, but in order to use a right handed bow you must hold it in your left hand and DRAW with your right. Vice versa for lefties, of course.
