Reduced the counter shaft sprocket from a 13 to a 12 tooth on my yz 125. A little less top end, but the gain in torque was deffenitly worth it for the tighter sections and coming out of corners. Nice vid.

Thanks for explaining stuff to me. I'm still rather new to enduro, as I changed from the original setting 11/52 to a 14/48, my bike went much faster, but it wasn't as responsive in the woods.
@EverySingleSunday Жыл бұрын
If you went from 11/52 to 14/48 your bike will be much faster on the top end but will definitely not have the low end power you had before. You’ll probably need to ride a gear lower I’m guessing

yeah my KTM has the 13/50 or 14/50 one of those two that came stock on the bike. i also went up from a 110 to a 120/90/19 for better grip. i'm fixin to do maybe a 13/48-13/49 idk i've lost all knowledge on sprockets when it comes to dirt bikes.
@EverySingleSunday5 жыл бұрын
The 300 2T bikes come 13/50 13-48/49 would make it have less bottom end. If you want to stay with a 13 go to 51-52

its 12/50 for me all day. With a six speed transmission you have all the speed you need when its needed. NO PROBLEM! 1st only ever gets used through the most gnarly terrain and you can crawl without a ton of clutch work and climb hills at 2mph if you want. 2nd and 3rd become a dream on tight single track.
@EverySingleSunday3 жыл бұрын
I tried 12/50 and felt like I was always in between gears. Much be better in higher elevations but for sea level where I ride mostly it was a bit weird at 12/50
