My girls get out there and work with me, as well as my oldest boy. They love being operator’s, but my thing is, if you want to run it, you have to know how it works and how to fix it. Great job!

Changed the oil in my truck yesterday, and seeing you do the same, figured I would mention this. I switched to buying engine oil by the 55gal drum maybe 6mos- yr ago and haven't looked back. Most all my equipment takes the same grade of 15w40. I ended up saving a couple bucks a gallon vs buying gallons on sale at the auto parts store. I have a rotary vane pump on the drum and a 2 gallon graduated watering can lookin container to measure the oil and pour it into whatever machine. By the time I empty the first drum the pump and jug have paid for themselves and then some. I typically buy filters 6 at a time (get a little better deal that way usually too) and just keep them on hand as well. Whenever something is due for a change everything I need is already onsite. No phone calls or trips to the parts store.

Be cool to see Ole Henry as you say on a podcast. Hear his thoughts of living on a farm, his enjoyment, and future thoughts on what he wants to do. Be cool idea I would listen to that podcast. You’re raising a good kid. Just as I was taught.

Very few of their engineers are American. Not trying to be a wise @ss, but we can no longer muster up a competent labor force. I couldn’t even find help for a long time. Had my wife running a semi, a 10 year old on the grain cart and me and my at the time 12 year old daughter in the combines. It worked out in the long run, but we had a really tough year getting things done.

no, it's the fact that we're not afraid to get dirty. I can have 1/2 the blades changed by the time it takes to clean it off. Guys like you piss me off, you're always too busy wiping hands and cleaning everything, If you're too afraid to get dirty then go get an office job.

Exactly !! If the origin of a company is American. That would mean sometime in the time that company has existed it has received tax breaks, subsidies, or some other US taxpayer money. I will not conform, I just switch companies and tell them why.
