For welding mild steel, the most commonly used type of electrode is the E6013 electrode, which is coated with rutile (or titanium dioxide) and iron oxide. This type of electrode is also known as a "general-purpose" electrode and is suitable for welding in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead). The rutile coating on the electrode provides a stable arc and easy-to-control weld puddle, making it ideal for beginner welders. It also produces a smooth, clean, and attractive weld bead. The iron oxide in the coating provides additional deoxidizing properties, which help remove impurities from the weld metal, resulting in a stronger and more ductile weld. Overall, the E6013 electrode is a good choice for welding mild steel, as it provides good penetration, a stable arc, and produces a high-quality weld.

Welds work on AC n dc We get supply of Ac In one side of machine is 230v . So it taken 230v n gives 40 to 45 v. Or In this rectifier is there. So it give DC voltage Current provides the heat I^2 RT One side get high current at low voltage
