How do these compare to the Presonus AI-315 which are 3 way speakers? We are thinking about getting the AI-315 for our band (lots of Reggae, Merengue ... etc). Over all, are 3 way speakers better than 2 way for live music (especially if you want good vocal presence)?

Presonus sounds wayyyy better than the QSC. Qsc is louder, but Presonus sounds incredible.

The Air15s is good but if you want low loud bass go for the Air 18s.

We have 2x 15s and 2x 15 subs. I love the airs... I am wondering if you have any tricks to get the subs louder? One trick that I have tried is to connect the subs via a seperate input - sometimes works. I would like to avoid connecting them together if possible as I like to mount the speakers on top. We're looking at buying a pair of 12s also

Put the gain right up on the back and lower your tops a bit then bring up the master on mixer, I’ve owned both the Air subs and the 15s is quite good for it’s size & weight it doesn’t go real low in frequency but it goes plenty loud.

Gear It First needs to work for weddings but I also need them to keep up with the ETX18SP ....but m a fan of the two different amps...class an should produce a much warmer smoother vocal

What are your thoughts on this vs the QSC K12.2? Having a hard time choosing between the two. Will be using them mostly for weddings and would be occasionally using them without a sub.

Sana Goldan my opinion the PreSonus air series and the QSC K series really good speakers and they both offer 6-year warranty but the QSC K series offer more features such as a crossover/ high pass filter so when you are using a subwoofer the PreSonus air series remain full range unless you use an external crossover to cut the low frequency from the tops I myself chose to buy a pair of PreSonus air 15 and the air 18s subwoofer so far I really like what I have.....

Literally heard them today, side by side and presonus are way WAY louder and throw is much much better and bass is also better.

2 different types of subs. The yorkville will be louder because it's front loaded horn but it's heavier.
