Excellent short Lovecraft horror film. I like his works and you made a very enjoyable and "fitting" Lovecraft horror movie. Great atmosphere and acting, with several really creepy scenes (especially the torture scene), pretty disturbing locations, and a chilling ending. I really like watching these short horror movies on KZbin; a great chance for new filmmakers to put up their work and show their talent. Being an aspiring screenwriter myself, I find that really enjoyable and inspiring. Keep up the great work, you are talented. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.

I think it would have been cool if after he was attuned to the sigil/rune or whatever, he walks up the stairs and sees the past version himself entering the house all over again. That was amazingly done! If a whole movie was made like this, I'd so fucking watch it. I love the kind of games that are done through FP. Like, Amnesia, Evil Within, Outlast, etc. This was well paced and well made. The sounds and editing were very effective - you guys succeeded in building tension and setting the atmosphere through the sounds, as you aimed to do since you couldn't rely on the standard camera angles to do it for you. 10/10

Fantastic job! Adore the setting - the grime, the dull colours, the claustrophobic and cluttered environment all lend to intensifying the experience! That said, the acting of the protagonist after being carved out was a little too muted and logical to me, even when considering the possibility of shock kicking in. Also, the 'insanity effects' do look a little too much like in video games (Amnesia especially), and breaks the rather realistic effect this short is going for. Aside from those, everything else was great! The sound (as many have already mentioned) is definitely the highlight, and cuts to complete silence really amped up the atmosphere! Keep it up guys, and hoping to see more Lovecraftian inspired pieces in the future! :Db
