Gears 5 Operation 4 Delayed and Horde Class Changes

They apologized during the dev stream for lack of Horde Special events during Op 3 and that Op 4 will have a bigger focus on PvE so chances are we will get similar events like Terminator Horde

I hate the Dev streams. Because it is the developers being vague on information. I am not going to be a fan of the Horde changes. I like the idea of characters having an ability which is supposed to reflect their personality. Well the thing about certain medal rewards for the game mode are heavily linked toward Winning for Op 2 and the average Joe is not going to win at Free For All. A game mode like Free for All completely waffle stomps the lesser skilled players and thus feel like they are running into a brick wall for the season rewards. Grid Iron did succeed by making the milestones feel less win dependent. (People would sooner quit if they percieved to he be on the losing side). Also, Grid Iron is an easy mode to cheese because the side that grabs the flag first and have the superior number advantage. The defending team would be forced to expose the endzone and not have the proper amount of players to defend or attack the flag bearer. So it would leave matches both sides waiting for the other to make a push. (Personally, if the Flag bearer is going to have 1 minute left on the clock, they should have a permenant outline of their location so the defenders at least coordinate to retake the flag or if the round ends in a Stalemate, both sides get 0 points. The only way to score is by actually pushing to the opposing Endzone). On a side note, Grid Iron made me wish there was an announcer mute button. I despise Jinn's voice and her mediocre dialogue.

Yeah, watched it yesterday and I remember Shadowz asked a few question and it looked like Dana was avoiding giving straightforward answers. I know they cant give us a lot of information, but at this point they have to keep the community more in the know

Prescott and Hoffman had charm to them. It also helped that they were playable characters in multiplayer. Jinn on the other hand, although not a villain, was clearly written to be an unlikable character in the campaign. Not a fan of her being the announcer.

I want to play the cog gear medic class but I want to look and sound like Clayton. I should not be forced to play a crap class like Clayton's. Even if you just make it private class I'm fine. They took away to much freedom from us in Gears 5 horde

It's still very much alive, been playing it more since I have basically done everything Op 3 has to offer. I'll still be coming back to Gears 5 when Op 4 releases since there will be "new" things to do/unlock but at the moment I am enjoying playing Gears 4 again.

I really hope we gets maps i could play so much longer each day playing the same maps over and over is mind numbing also the insane dodgeball would be nice if it was in the playlist i had so much fun in it cause downtime is 1 sec so lancers dont seem so bad and respawns are instant idk i loved it.Also i never pve in less there is a nice skin but killing players is way more fun.

@@Taximoris i wont play pve even for a nice skin because its never playing 1 or 2 games of pve to get it. It will be multiple games i would have to play and i really dislike it. No skin is worth it, well, ones that have been out arnt worth the bs of playing pve it.

Tornado and the forces of nature maps in new paint, or as was them levels changed during gameplay just nice mix up between these and usual still maps

I play both horde and PVP, Horde needs to be more Interesting and fun they should add more damage to bullet turrets and get rid of having pick a character to pick a specific class, I want to pick any character etc. On the other hand I still see tons of bullet magnetism is very frustrating, they got to do something about people quitting 6 out of 10 matches we loose because people quit or game kicks them out, being killed while in cover

We should be grateful for tge amount of Content The Coalition and Microsoft Exclusives has given us. Because *Sony Exclusives don't give nor offer Ssssh*t for DLC nor Extra Content, in Sonys already anemic Replay Value in all PS4 Games!* I can wait, I'm good for a few weeks. My Thrashball Cole Train, is 2 Cards from being A Level 18, all Cards Maxed to 5 Character! I have 7 Level 18 Characters; Kait and Del are Fully Maxed: all of this is Horde Mode.

Lancer is fine 8 shots in the shotgun is needed, Move the circles or the hill locations in KOTH add maps and the ranking system is fine maybe don't take as many points on bad games

pve is absolute rubbish in this game. the ai is horrible. wish they would just focus on pvp content
