Glad you’re appreciating gears 4 more bro. I absolutely love this game. I’m a new gen player, started on 5. It honestly felt too slow and the weapons felt too weak. Picked up 4 and saw how fast it is and how strong the weapons (especially the gnashes) are, and never turned back.

The game's main issue were the crates, espescially for bounties and horde cards but the gameplay was practically a modernized gow3

@@zzBake gears 5's lancer has headshot damage, and it's way more accurate if you can manage the recoil/spread. it's classed as an assault rifle, but if you know what you're doing it plays like a precision weapon. it has a much hiigher effective range. gow4 lancer is just spraying a bunch of shots around. and the active bonus is nothing compared to gow 3.

Gears 4 was an amazing improvement to the franchise. Gears 5 made movement and gameplay much smoother but took away from the advancements that Gears 4 made. If there were a chance to have the best of both I probably would never turn it off

That's literally most of my Gears 4 game.. if we are losing significantly on the first KOTH round, people will just leave.. it's annoying and it's the people who play like the pros and a good factor. unfortunately i need that because the servers in the UK region are bad and my ping averages 150 so i have to put in triple times the effort when playing

hey Nick, genuine question… why don’t you reload more often? i see you lots of times especially in ffa die or lose out on a down because you have to reload, but then i see you take fights with half or less of a loaded shotgun

It’s just a habit from playing competitively, there’s a lot of times where you can’t reload or maybe you’re lancering etc. And in FFA it’s all about getting to 30 the fastest so I’m not trying to waste 2 seconds to disengage from a fight another 3 seconds to reload and reengage. That’s a lot of time wasted throughout the game if I do that every time I need to reload.

This game was kinda meh for me. I feel like it should have ended at GoW3. Gears 4 kinda felt like a cash grab to me, and Gears 5 definitely was and is a cash grab. I wish Epic had never sold it. Don't know why there always has to be a sequel to everything, because eventually stuff gets really stale.
