Gears of War: E-Day, NO MULTIPLAYER?! (My thoughts)

With the rumour mills going wild, we hear of the potential of there being no multiplayer in a main line Gears of War title EVER! (not including Gears Tactics)
Let’s clear things up…

Just because it doesn’t have a multiplayer tag doesn’t mean it won’t be there. The game was just announced, speculating anything needs to be taken with a massive handful of salt.

Honestly, I played for campaign and horde. Couldn’t care less about the PvP. It was stupid, people just bouncing around with shotguns

I think that this could possibly mean no horde multiplayer. Coop is obviously the story, but idk for horde. That's just over speculation though

Gears 5 MP on steam is still fire, I also found the first Gears game with an MP mode with offline bots mod, only 7gb.

Bro game just announced there's nothing to speculate let them make the masterpiece they put out everytime. Their not gonna mess this up. This is xboxs chance to actually get back a big portion of their playerbase. This will be a carefully crafted Gow they havnt released a game in years of it sucks then were screwed as fans

As someone who's played gears since 2006 i think it would be a mistake to not release an online suite. The problem is that the online gaming lanscape has dramatically changed since the halcyon days of Gears 1-3. Voice comms is so important to a good gaming experience in Gears online and by the time Gears 5 launched there just wasn't any sense of community or banter in the lobbies anymore and that kills the team experience. If they can find a way to cultivate that again in regular gamers and not just the hardcore then they'll be on to a winner.

The lobbies on gears one were wild. Getting killed in a warzone round, leaving you to fend off anyone on the opposing team that's been killed, damn, those were the days.

I got a feeling that this gears of war e day is it going to be PVE open world my opinion they're going to make it like helldivers 2 . Make it fun for everybody to play. You go back to the old way with PVP. Game will be dead in 6 months people is getting tired of the teabaggers and hackers stupid wall bouncing . If they were smart really do something different for this game.

For me, I hope there’s no multiplayer. I feel like for the latest games for gears war they cater way too much to the pro MLG players out there the game feels like trash when it’s like that and my arms opinion, I mean, look how much they are advertising cosmetics based on certain player teams kind of reminds me of overwatch with that stupid shit and overwatch with all these balances and shit, they listen to the major league gamers out there. I think gears were multiplayer died years ago after gears one and two possibly three.
