I agree that gears 1 was the best MP because there was less fluidity of movement and therefore you couldn't wall bounce and rushing was much harder and therefore was a lot more methodical as it was supposed to be, but gears 3 is definitely a very close second MP wise

Gears 1 was the sheeeet! Online was some of the best multiplayer I played back in the day and i dont have xbox one and this will defin make my mind up again as i do miss the days of playing this game. And not having to worry bout servers and host advantage which was all the rage!

Reason I love this game because it really requires skills to be good at it, it's not like COD or other shooting games, and Gears 1 was a perfect example of that, Gears 2 imo was the worst one, more options yeah but shit gameplay and laggy af.

They changed how the aiming with the sniper works. When you aim with the longshot, the reticle will be wide then it closes in. So it makes it harder to quick shot

I don't know. When I compare it to GOW3 (which I know it's not), aside from the graphics being cleaner, that is about all it has over it. I never really played one so I know it is unfair for me to compare what all can be done in 3 as opposed to this one. It seems slower and despite the 60fps, it looks a bit clunky with death and explosion animations especially. Can't really judge it until the final version comes out I guess but I will invest in it regardless. I guess it is good however to say that I will get the Gears one experience that most already had will I didn't and seeing as how I never played Gears 1- I will have a genuine virgin experience but with an enhanced version- life is good lol.

Sniper looks re-designed. Its reticle takes a couple seconds to shrink and be accurate, they need to remove that now, that is a dumb change. There better not be any stopping power bullshit with lancers either.
