there were a lot of great third party ds4 controllers. fightpads, retro controllers, small controllers for kids, and it sucks sony didn’t care to make these controllers compatible with new ps5 games. the only options you have for controllers on ps5 are: dualsense, or expensive third party pro controller. all of which are $70+

I just wanted to know who was the guy who designed the Dualsense really. The worst controller I've ever had in my hands. Played with cheap controllers for PC and never had the pain, the disconfort the Dualsense gives me! Tried to hold it in different ways, can't find a solution. Can't have fun playing with him at all. Sony needs to allow people use DS4 in PS5! They just want sales and money and don't give a shit about the confort of their players. For me Playstation is done. The last one for me.

However, when I tried to play a PS5 game using a PS4 controller it doesn't work so I assume it only works on PS4 games. @@fibrex_942 how does it compare to actual mouse movement on a computer. because the right stick does not have aim accelaration like a real mouse would. What i mean is: if i make a fast movement with the mouse it covers a grater distance in a shorter time then if i where to make a slower but bigger movement. when you would use a mouse on consoles (not native) with a stick to mouse convereter like xim the fast movements will get picked up less. it only works when oyu make slower movements. I use a Xim nexus. Tnis uses the same translator software that their keyboard translators (dongle) uses.When i make a fast movement with my controller the gyro can not detect that because the right stick has no aim accelaration. Yhis howeber is not the fault of the Nexus but of the aim / look mechanics of the game. In my opion it would be better if all developers programmed both mouse and keyboard and controller movemts for the ingame camera. So it can only translate the distance that thes stick travels and not how fast you move the stick (I hope you get what i mean.) when i use gyro on pc i generaly use a mouse to bind to the gyro. This whay i can use the same mouse accelaation to make sanppier movements. So in my humble opion mouse gyro and real mouse movements will always be more accurate. That is not to say i dont love my Nexus.

For who have good connection u can use remote play with ur phone and then u pair the ps4 controller with the phone as well. 👌 If u play like that the lag is noticeable only if u watch on the phone screen but if u look to monitor is not that much. that's the way if u dont want to buy this thing. P.s. set at lower graphics possible the stream in remote play so u dont loose too much connection

Does this enable haptics on the other controller? Im debating between buying this and a more comfortable controller but if haptics are enabled with this then this would be better.

Haptic only truly exists on the dual shock. Any other control just unlocks rumble

Imagine having to use older tech controllers on a modern console just because they can’t even get the controllers right…. Stick drift , BS…Smh , Sony is shady , making controller cheap, so we have to buy more of there crap ps5 controllers, there final evil plan finally showed, leading us up to the $200 dollar controller they just made …what a joke..

Make sure you have in out set to usb in the settings. If not it'll be charging over USB but not actually using the inputs

One more question popped into my brain (Sorry for constantly asking stuff) When using the cronus zen by itself on PS5, the zen studio software has a setting called "PS4 specialty mode", this is the setting that enables it to work on older PS5 games like Spider-man/FF7R When using the besavior + cronus, does this setting matter? If so, is it off or on? I'm asking because I recently discovered that the current zen firmware seems bugged, and this setting keeps resetting itself to "off" and it's annoying, and the cronus devs do not issue frequent updates so who knows when it will be fixed, and I'm worried if this will create issues with the besavior.

Ps4 speciality mode is only for ps4 games and it works as u know if u using a speciality controller hori mini nacon compact etc if this option matters no is not as besavior is plug and play solution. If u running beta firmware and beta zen studio this is never was an issue and neither now … it goes auto off only if u try to change any settings and your zen is not plug into your pc and after open zen studio and after make changes

@@GearsAndTech can you also connect a xim nexus to it. I dont know if you know what that is, but i am asking because that controller uses a dongle that needs to be connected to the ps5 and that dongle then needs a donor controller to piggyback of. The nexus allows me to use gyro aiming in alot of games including games on ps4 ps5 and series x / s. On xbox it works without having the trouble that i am locked out of games because it needs a specific controler. On ps5 howerer that have core gameplay features that need the dualsense. For example returnal has an alternate firing mode that only works with the dualstage triggers. It would be awsome if the besavior had the option to upload a modpack that would allow me to add gyro to every game, then i would not have the nee for any other controller at all.

What i struggle to understand is why cant they take what they need from the ps5 controller and link it to the bottom device and make strictly a wifi link or usb link? In reality who will want it for the controller part of it? You can get a better back paddle controller for the same price.....

To avoid lawsuits they need to use the ps5 controller. They can bake that into a black box as well. Which I have mentioned to the team. But it's unlikely to come out
