Very similar to the Korg Tone works stuff of the 00s . So much fun to play around with... Great tool to explore different sounds... especially for people who are new to effects and Tone shaping.

Thanks for the demo. I believe in the ERUPT preset when you clicked PEDAL to off it turned off the MXR PHASE 90 (emulation), leaving amp w/ distortion unchanged.

This is obvs based on and almost Identicle To the Toneworks AX1000G that was released in 1999 which also had vox wah and has all the same cabinet sounds, modules and effect nick-names ie 'textrem'& Echo Plus etc, also noticed that it includes the xtra features included with AX3000 upgrade. However im not sure they featured real valves just a rems modeler and this has metal switches (not plastic) and authentic pedal plate too, this looks really professional which is what originally attracted me to the KORG AX1000 which this has improved upon, nice work! Some multi fx processors can seem plasticy and gimmicky. I prefer this type of processor, it looks as though a lot of all the good bits have been crammed in.

Just got mine recently and really enjoy it. But found out real quick im gonna have trouble using it outside. You cant see the display or lights at all. Doubt the sun is good for the display anyway. So, im gonna have to make something sit over it & keep it shaded & cool. The west TX sun will get metal too hot to touch, in a matter of minutes

I love this thing. Still. I recently bought an axe fx 2 thinking id be finally upgrading from the LE. The axe fx is amazing and you can get great tones etc.. but the LE just had better sounding and feeling amp model simulations. For pure tone, this thing wins in my opinion. I will be connecting this to a Mesa 2 : 90 power amp and a mesa cab of some kind soon.

@Trunk McEight Hey m@n i came across your reply ...N i have to say that i completely agree with some of your arguments about this piece of gear I have a Zoom G9 which IMO sounds way better than the Tonelab series ...less harsh sound / more body... with a more sturdy construction The G9 has a killer preamp which is its the great strenght of this device N some really cool algorithms on board as well (amp-sims, mods, delays, OD-Dist, reverbs, filters) When you think about the price of these old school FX units in 2nd-hand nowadays on the market it's so ridiculous I have a Boss GT100 also but i prefer the sounds of the G9 ...more dynamic, real analog feeling ...nam sayin But the GT100 is so cool when it comes to create some multi layered patches (Dual Processing Tek) Actually i blend the sound of these two units by using a Radial Bigshot ABY pedal N running both of them on a stereo channel of my Alesis mixer N then straight into my Fostex PM0.5 active monitoring speakers I always make a lot of fun of seeing folks buying very expensive devices with what the f*ck ultimate sound modeling technology onboard ...they R just forgetting that without a good analog preamp N maybe a good stereo/dual mono tube compressor/limiter at the end of the signal chain straight after the numeric processing you can get amazing results with actually cheap gears

I have the same thing with my own custom settings, but I'm trying to figure out how to get it so I can play a riff and at the same time it plays a harmony riff behind my guitar, any ideas?

+John Morgan Can't do that with this unit as far as I know.

+John Morgan Hello guys; as far as I know there´s a thing you can do with Tonelab Le if you want playin over a riff or pedal note or whatever. Look for Hold Delay trick, it´s not a real loop machine but using this you got 8 seconds loop to play over and over and over and change it and playin over again :) good luck

Is that first one that you showed ("THROAT") a preset or one that you customized? What a great sound! Thanks in advance.
@wayansugiantha98175 жыл бұрын
For preset there is talkvox..you can sustomized with several paramerer like vowel : a-u, i-a, a-e, so on..so volatile sound you can add octave making the throat sound deeper like groal

which is the best? Vox Tonelab EX or Vox Tonelab LE???
@hepatitis1238 жыл бұрын
TUTORIAL GAMEZ I'm sure you've found your answer by now, as it's been 3 years, but I've had the Tonelab EX for several years. It's fantastic, but I still want the LE more. The LE has more options that are independent of each other, so you can meld more effects together. It also has a seemingly better tone quality than the EX.
@joet8407 жыл бұрын
Watched many videos of each , the LE definitely has better tone.

ok... useless demo! How easy is it to edit sounds? how effective are the controls? What if these ready made sounds are no use to me-which is the case how good is it in a PA mixing board? how does it sound through a good enough guitar amp? How difficult is it t odeit sound just before a show? is there a general equalization that could applay to all effects in case àf a sound problem in the room? After all, this is supposed to be used in professionnal circumstances!!
