I miss this place so much. My first ever amusement park. I remember as a kid in the late 80's in the wave with my sister and my aunt. I thought the wave was so big, so we did not go far in. I still loved it. Then my aunt got us Wave t-shirts made. I remember watching them making them. If I had the money, I would have bought the park and kept Geauga Lake. then I would have got the investors to help my build the best roller coasters in the world while keeping the ones that were there.

Sad day when it closed in 2007! have never gotten over it and never will. Lots of great memories there with my Family and Friends..

GOD I missed this place got 2 visit this place like 3 months after I had my daughter was hoping 2 bring her here 2 create good memories as I did as a child😢😢😢 but I couldn't because a year later it closed I was so hurt me and my family went every summer I remember making sandwiches, frying chicken and all that good stuff the night before we went 4 our picnic because you could bring ur own food in man ol' man I'm still hurt after all these years such great moments all I have is many many many memories THANK YOU GEAUGA LAKE u will forever reign in our hearts💖💖💖

Many Memories of Yesterday Because when they closed it for good all we have are the memories it's sad that they taken it all away from millions of Children that loved that Place the worst thing that happened was when the last ride was torn down You knew that then We had been ripped off . No more rides to enjoy even in Picture We live in the Memories of Geauga lake

Great place to work as well. Working there 3 seasons and they were the best ones of my life. Always went to Geauga Lake Park when I was able to drive, spent many a great day there, met awesome people and can't believe that park is closed, and what it looks like now.
