hello there people, do you wanna know how all the metas are developed, well here is an explanation, people look for amazing combo of speed and miniturbo (except for mk7's meta) and good stats all together, decent enough weight to not get bumped around like of of the planet entirely, good handling/grip(traction or drift), all right offroad and not humoungus hitbox (unlike mk7) and with characters with the best stats in the game, in mk8dx the-one-who-do-we-not-speak-off(waluigi wiggler)was the best and people SPAMMED IT to the max except for Jay Pee Gee used WARIOOOOO mr scooty(alternatives where bowser and dry bowser with teddy buggy) and with the recent patch it buffed many things except for the-one-who-do-we-not-speak-off wasnt, so it was blue waifu princess/king boo/Link with teddy buggy then speedrunners ruined my dream combo (i like rosalina because she is from galaxy and i LOVE galaxy and my favourite color is blue and king boo because he is good) and put yoshi/peach/daisy/birdo instead, then it switched teddy buggy with inkstriker, then JPGiviner thought luigi teddy buggy GLA tires and paper glider was the best because of same speed or the-one-who-do-we-not-speak-of but +1 miniturbo, so there you go, TLDR:stats matter.
