Looks like a good kit - thanks for the review. Always a bit special when it has a family link. I'm in the middle of building Trumpeter's LCM, but this looks much more interesting!

Hi bit late sorry. Cheers for this over view. Certainly not a cheap model My old man was also on Gold as an Abs on a LCA. Learned alot from him . From using the kedge anchor too having the armoured doors behind the ramp saved many lives from Teller mines. His had a stripped down Lewis rather than the Bren as most of those went to the Army.

Hi Paul, This looks like a great kit. I'll be looking forward to seeing the build. Your father-in-law was very lucky to make it home. When my father-in-law was getting older, he used to set for hours and talk to me about the time he spent in the Aleutian Islands in WWII. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
