Hello, Kate! love your lesons, the've been very helpful for my GED prep. I have a question about experienced example number 10. Why is the result turned out to be positive? I didn't quite get that, since the number turned out to be negative at first, why did we got rid of the negative sign?

Simple three step equations are covered in the experienced and advanced level of this lesson- both in this vid and in the related playlists. More complex multistep equations are covered in lesson 11 of Algebra Essentials.

This video is great but why is the version of this video from 6 years ago on the website instead of this one?

Because I'm redoing the entire alg unit right now as I write the new algebra essentials book! Once the book goes to the printer (this month, I'm hoping!), I'll attack the website and get that all updated with the changes. After the alg Unit, my plan is the quick review :) Good news, you (and all my fans) can help the process by becoming supporters. The less I have to work my "real jobs" to pay the bills, the more time I can dedicate to Light & Salt! Happy learning!

I'm doing the experienced practice of solving two-step equations on your website, and problems Number 11 and 23 Don't appear to be the same sorts of problems we were doing in the vid. I'm not getting the right answers...
