The guy on the right with the blue cap is a jedi shaolin zenned out master drummer - "it's all about the notes you DON'T play" is his mantra - "It's all in the spaces man"

does anybody know where I can buy their music (CD, mp3, or anything) ?

Well, this is a footage we have paid for - It is not a "Band", but furthermore an occasion for those friends to earn some money. We have been studying drums with Drissa Kone and Madu Diakite. There are a lot of recordings of them on KZbin, and Drissa Kone plays on some CDs. For example www.amazon.com has the one called 'Kurubamako'. 'Naani' is available at the Beat Factory on www.djembe.at.

Thomas Kälin Get this "The Art of Jenbe Drumming - The Mali Tradition Vol. 1" and vol. 2 they both have drissa kone, and some other master djembe drummers, all this exact style of drumming, which is Mali style djembe drumming, as opposed to guinea ballet style. This is from my research closer to what they would play in the actual villages, Guinea Ballet Style ie. mamady Keita, is great, but I prefer this a lot more.

„Gede“ is the name of rhis rhythm (Drissa told us so). I don‘t know about a ‚meaning‘.
