one of the greatest things freaks and geeks achieved is creating genuiene teacher represantations. despite other high school shows didn't really care about school counsellors or teachers, freaks and geeks gave us decent characters such as Fredricks and Mr. Rosso. and their storyline/backgorund weren't just scene-fillers, they were crucial to the plot. i will never ever get over this show, will i?

@@thetrashman1581 for real i just think of it as this show was only 18 episodes but it told the story Nicks with a new women kens found love Lindsey went to live life like mr russo did to find her calling in life amy and daniel found that they both loved each other and are soulmates sam bill and neal stay best friends and turn into Freak Geeks where they don’t do drugs but have fun like the Freaks do without the freak tendencies like smoking or drinking maybe Bill drinks but that’s all Sam stays a Geek but is the smart cool geek like today’s generation has a few of those guys and Neal is the one who turns the geeks to freaks let’s be real and honest Neal has the potential to be as Freak as Daniel group his dad cheats on his mom and she knows Neal fought Sams bully and his views on women are strangely similar to daniel and kens versions and that’s basically if she’s Hot then all her flaws go away lmao Neal also was really into that movie daniel gave Sam😂😂😂😂😂 just saying ik sam is the main character of the Geeks but Neal would be the freak/geek

Most people would have gone for the cliche and used, Gonna Fly Now or Eye of the Tiger, but not Freaks and Geeks. They used Overture from Rocky II. That is so epic.

It’s actually a combination of Overture, Going the Distance, and Victory - all in that same order but they edit the music in a way that transitions seamlessly. I made a track combining all three so maybe I’ll upload it on KZbin (if anyone is interested), it sounds just like this.

Parents didn't like the main character focus was on the pot head kids making it like they were making it cool to be a stoner...bunch of politics and BS ended the show notice just about all of them becames huge stars..never happened before in tv where a 1 season show spawned so many big stars after
