Thanks for your time, very interesting. I used Creative sound packages way back, say 17 or 18 years ago, and even then it turned my computer into a home theater with the best 4.1 sound I could get out of a plain 2 channel system -- bullets still flew past my head from front to back, left to right -- simply amazing for back then, and now I could only imagine. Until now I was seriously considering a Bose setup, but now (for budget, simplicity, and quality surpassing Bose) I am definitely going with this SXFI setup, and yes, the wireless SXFI headphone is a must-have. In the end, I know I'll be one happy camper. Thanks again!

I think you made a mistake in saying that the Creative Stage V2 was one of the first when The Sound Blasterx Katana was the first Sound Bar before the Stage V2 came out with more speakers than the Stage 2. It was just 10 Watts louder @ 160 as the Katana 150 Watts. And it cost more as well than the Stage V2.

would have been better is there's an actual demo, really hoping folks who does audio devices reviews would also show how the device sounds. Sure it will differ considering sound will have to go through YT, but still it makes more sense. Not doing so is like reviewing a new TV without showing how the screen/pictures looks like. Depends on your space, if it's a small room, definitely get the Katana V2, if you're planning to get a sound system for the living room (with good ceiling space) then the Carrier is bang for your buck

Afaik sxfi headphone doesn't support more than 7.1, don't know how the carrier differs from that. Does sxfi ( headphones) work with audio only inputted via hdmi? I ask, because all other sxfi products only work with audio via usb-input ( on pc, switch, android, ps4/5, but NOT xbox)
